Information icon Hello, I'm IrisChronomia, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Visual cortex, it appears that you added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Per WP:MEDRS, it is recommended that review articles be used for citation. 海盐沙冰 (talk) 09:42, 10 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: R.M. Bhagwat (August 17)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please dial down the adulation, this is meant to be an encyclopaedia article, not an admiration piece.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: R.M. Bhagwat (December 1)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Johannes Maximilian was:
• Despite its short length, the draft is still adulate-y in tone.
• Footnotes 7, 8, 9, and 10 are de facto the same.
• The draft contains close paraphrasing, if not verbatim copies of source text.
• The claim that "Everyday Mathematics" is the subject's "most popular and famous book" is unsourced.
• Footnote 2 leads to a source that doesn't contain a citeable piece of text/article.
• Footnote 3 refers to a source that is seemingly unrelated to the subject.
• Footnote 4 seemingly refers to a bookselling platform. How is this a source in the sense of Wikipedia?
• Footnote 5 refers to a "software error". Not a source.
• It is unclear whether the subject is dead or living.
• Please have a look at WP:CITEHOW and WP:REFPUNCT. Best, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 08:49, 1 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: R.M. Bhagwat (February 22)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
