I have noticed that both Life is a Circus and Somewhere 2005 have been marked for deletion. I fail to see why. Both films appear to fit the criteria for wikipedia and both are listed on IMDB. Both have appeared at many festivals and both are available on Amazon. Life is a Circus was nominated for the Time Out Best London Film award in 2005 and original copies of Somewhere exchange hands on ebay for high amounts. Both films have also had press coverage. Please advise what further information you would need to allow these pages to remain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The big ben (talk • contribs) 00:59, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I created the page List of songs by Taylor Swift without aware/known that the page List of Taylor Swift songs previously nominated for deletion.
The page created by mine has new layout and I really hope that it will be kept, as I will make further improvement to it. Have your say here, thank you. I will notice other users joined above AfD, too. Silvergoat (talk∙contrib) 08:40, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Article Confirmation
I've done extensive research on this page and it all seems to check out. I don't understand why you would suggest that it should be removed. His music videos are affiliated with MTV, he has a reality show that has been picked up by the CW network, and he has a music and film deal with Universal. He's the youngest owner ever of a professional basketball team which happens to also be global (ABA) He's also one of Atlanta's top producing real estate agents. He is a socialite and exclusive party promoter in the greater Atlanta area as well. He seems to be extremely notable and worthy of a wikipedia entry as far as I'm concerned. His sites www.AdrianProvost.com and www.PlanetProvost.com are very notable, as well as his charity Life Juice. He's had numerous television appearances and is well known throughout society. I've reviewed plenty of articles on wikipedia and I can not seem to find justification for the deletion of this page, but the inclusion of some of those other articles. It doesn't seem to make sense to me, please help me understand this. I've spent a considerable amount of time researching the subject and even more time in contributing to the article. I would appreciate an explanation in further detail and would like to know the necessary steps to get this included so I don't feel as if I have wasted so much of my time. Thanks - With Kind Regards I Remain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.166.45.168 (talk) 09:27, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Question
Greetings. Thanks for including the article Midnight Rogue in the wider debate as to possible deletion. As you seem to be an experienced Wikipedian, I have a question. When redirecting, how does one get an article to redirect straight to another page without having to view the original page and a redirect arrow? Thanks in advance. 01:31, 17 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebladesofchaos (talk • contribs)

Hi Gene93k, thanks for your cycle out the Afd to other related page to get more comment. Hope you can comment some as well. Do appreciate your support if you found the sources are reliable. Thanks! Felixlhk (talk) 06:37, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Mistaken listing of Malati Dasi for deletion
Hello Gene93k. As I mentioned in comment on Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Malati_Dasi#Malati_Dasi AfD nom, Malati Dasi got listed under AfD by sheer mistake. A fellow editor removed an unreliable source, but the reliable one that stayed in was erroneously cited as the previous unreliable one. I have added a few more WP:RSs ever since and am wondering if you could check if the article really qualifies for a AfD-listing in the first place. Glenview Creek Updates
Gene93K-
Thanks for your updates and for putting the references into footnote format. I copied and pasted information from the former Glenview Creek Wiki page after I noticed that the heading was misspelled.
I'd like to upload photos I took of Glenview Creek but it appears that I have to wait for some period of time to do so.

Thanks for adding D'Jais to those forums. I'm new to this, but it seems that will increase the chance of enough traffic to get a fair review. I was trying to figure out how to do that and not "meat puppet." Smm201`0 (talk) 20:48, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

You're the worst kind of user on wikipedia. You delete bands off the metal lists based on weather or not you think there metal. You abuse power as a user, and I really pray that someone on this website who's higher up removes you. You disgust me, and you only removed Unstable because they didn't fit YOUR description of metal. I'm not the only one you wronged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Makk3232 (talk • contribs) 18:53, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Schools of Chinese Tea
I removed it from school related discussions. As I understood it, that was for articles relating to educational institutions... Schools of Chinese Tea could be more aptly described as "Types" or something. Feel free to revert if you feel I'm wrong. WikiManOne 19:09, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Hello - can you help me understand the process of nominating an article for deletion? After it's been discussed, how is consensus reached? Who makes the determination that the consensus was keep or delete? Thanks! PR (talk) 17:51, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Delcan wikipedia page that you tagged
Hi there.
I am a frequent user of Wikipedia and have even edited a half-dozen articles (usually just typos that I find) and one day I got bored and decided to look up the company that I work for, Delcan.
The first thing that I notice is all the tags about neutrality and conflict of interest. As I start to read the page, I recognize it as being a copy-paste directly from our corporate website.
You and I will both agree that corporate websites are filled with bullshit “We’re the best company in the world” but that sort of biased writing has no place on Wikipedia.
I went through the page and tried to delete every time it said “World-leader” “Internationally-recognized” etc in order to make the page sound less corporate-propogandalike, and more Wikipedia-like.
If you take a look at the page now, I hope you’ll agree with me that it now has a neutral tone and I’m hoping that you could remove your “Flagged for neutrality and flagged for conflict of interest” tag.
To be clear, I do work for Delcan, but I’m a lowly engineer and have nothing to do with head office in Toronto – I just don’t like my company looking bad on Wikipedia.
PS – I used a throwaway account “neutrality_nazi” to edit the page because my usual account ID is my name…and I don’t want anyone in head office to know it was me that deleted the corporate propaganda stuff.
Also, I realize that the referencing sucks, so I’ll work on that and then message you back once I get around to it.
Please consider removing the neutrality tags...or let me know what I can do to re-write the jibberish that HR comes up with.
Thanks
Eddy

Thanks for your cat adding. (I was holding off adding unreferenced until I was sure that the author had given up his spam ideas...) Have you tried to find refs for it? I gave up after 10 pages of Google search. Every single one (well, almost) was selling the damn things. I'm starting to thing that it wasn't spam, but rather desperation on his part. I'll have another go (starting at Page 10). Peridon (talk) 21:54, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

What happens next?
Hi Gene93K,,
Could you tell me what happens next regarding my entry at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gareth_Herincx. I have added references which hopefully meet your criteria. Also, if my entry is deleted, what will happens to the other linked references to me on Wikipedia which others have entered?
Kind regards

Alderley House
Hi,
I notice that you have added a co-ordinates missing tag on Alderley House. The co-ordinates are the same as for the former Rose Hill School, Alderley, ie latitude 51.6154, longitude -2.33635, but I don't know how to add that information into the article. Perhaps you could do so?
Cheers,

dirtfoot
Gene,
I am completely new to Wikipedia and have no clue how any of this works. I am a player in the band Dirtfoot from Shreveport, LA. We have attempted a few times over the years to create a "Dirtfoot" page on Wiki, but it keeps reverting back to the Aqua Teen Hunger force deal. Isn't there a way to have multiple pages for the same name?
Regarding the website and copyright, I am the one that wrote the verbage you see on our web site, www.dirtfoot.com. If we need to create something new I understand.

Thanks for sorting out that redirect for me - embarrassing. I just though that if I added two inverted commas either end it would do the trick, but it obviously didn't. Back to the manuals :) Acabashi (talk) 20:11, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

In November 2010 you have tagged Spanish Point Airfield because of lack of references and style & tone. Today I have reworked the article and hope you are satisfied now. Eddylandzaat (talk) 21:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
