Banbury wards

Yes i will fill aswell, as i was sayingt o NF , we should move all banbury articles to banbury extension articles for example there title should be

Easington, Banbury rather than just Easington incase it confuses people if you do that ill change all the banbury links to them

Ive done all the warding (look at the template) ill be off in 7 minutes for simpsons and maybe dinner but ill be back at 6:30 look at the banbury discussion page, they rated it as a 'start' article, weve got to get it upto B standard i think it should be already but nevermind, ill begin doing more wards artciles soon, i think we should add a recreation sub-section into each wards article, also look how the southampton team has organised thier wards section :) see ya soon Thatperson

well done we did well last night and completed our mission and more can you go on sunday morning about 10:30. if yes say on my talk page. all ban ward articles complete plus all red links :) ! some ward things are difficult because it can be disputed as to whether there in that estaate or not as there is no ofiicial boundary. need to do more work on the individuasl estates! see you again soon, bye. I also saw that you wanted to change it to "db-advertising" which doesn't exist. The proper shortcut for blatant adverts is {{db-spam}}, for your reference. Datakit

When you tag stub articles like Datakit, please try to find the best specific stub tag on the page WP:STUBS. This saves other editors work in categorizing the page, and makes it easier for editors with experise in the subject to find pages that need work. Thank you for the message concerning the possible deletion of the Banbury United article. I agree that the article is worthy and that it is poorly written. I plan to re-write much of it in the next few dates. You may have noticed that JJGD who put it up for deletion, as put many articles up for deletion recently. I'm about 400 edits in front of you why would I try and bring your edit count down? I was reading the notability standards for football and the Banbury united article meets very few of them, for example the average attendance for a team should be around 1000, but under the player records headline near the bottom of the page it states that the average league attendance is 415.

Football squad templates

Hi,

Noticed that you added a squad box to Mark Ovendale. Just in case you don't know (apologies if you do), you can write a template for the squad and then just place the template on each players page, rather than having to paste the whole list everytime. See Category:English_football_squad_templates for examples. Hope this is useful WikiGull 20:11, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Just noticed that you have created the template. You just need to put the template short-cut on each page, not the template text. See what I've done to Darren Garner for an example. Good work though! WikiGull 20:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Non-League footballers category

Hi, I've proposed the category you created for deletion. In my view if contributes nothing useful to wikipedia - there are plenty of categories for players (by nationality, clubs played for etc) which are much more useful. Furthermore, the category is unclear as to whether you mean current non-league players or just any player who happens to have ever played non-league football in his life (which will be a lot!). First ever Oxford Wiki Meetup

New deal for page patrollers

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
