Thanks for your contributions to wiki. However, I have reverted your recent edits to the Rose-fronted Parakeet. Please notice that wiki use the up-to-date taxonomy (now where it is known that the old taxonomy for this group was almost entirely incorrect), as also described in detail in the taxonomic section for the Rose-fronted Parakeet. No prob. – to say the least, it can be very difficult to keep up with all the taxonomic changes and I certainly would never blame anyone for not being familiar with the messy situation in the P. picta-leucotis complex. It should be noted that ICZN never comment or take a stance on taxonomic treatments (e.g. species versus subspecies), as long as the names used follow the rules in the Code. Consequently, they have no opinion on the rank of any taxon under Pyrrhura.
