questionable user page
editWP guidelines state that a user page is not a free webhosting service. your page is a close recreation of a deleted article. if you are preparing the article for re-creation, a better location is at your sandbox. otherwise, this user page could be misconstrued by someone as an actual wikipedia article, which it is not. please consider moving this content to your sandbox. Speedy deletion nomination of of RealFreeMedia Corp.
editA tag has been placed on RealFreeMedia Corp., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 17:54, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
userpages
editWP guidelines strongly suggest that you not have the entire contents of an article that has been deleted on your user page. if you want to try to recreate the article on realfreemedia, with new references, etc. you should really move it to a sandbox page. as your userpage stands, it mimics an article. regardless of whether this is unintentional, others may perceive it as intentional.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:54, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
deleted user page as promotional
edityou have continued to edit this user page as if its an article. a google search shows this user page as the first item if your name and business name are listed, and the 3rd or so if just the business name. you have continued to edit this page as if its an article. I have no problem with you saying: this is the user page of geoffrey momin, and a one sentence mention of your business. but any more is using your user page as a free webhosting service or a promotional page for your business. an article on your business has been deleted twice. until your business can pass WP: notability, ie gets substantial third party mentions, any article you write on your business is likely to be deleted (i am not an administrator, but i do care about this encyclopedia being used properly). please dont recreate your user page as it was. i have nothing against your business or you personally, but i insist that articles conform to WPMOS and other standards, and that users not try to evade these rules. it doesnt work anyway. if you think i have been too harsh in any way, please feel free to discuss it here, or even to bring in an administrator. i dont own this resource any more than you. why not try editing an article? its really fun to see your work STAY here! - thanks for apparently taking my suggestions for consideration. I dont like to see people blocked, and i was afraid your actions may block you. your logo is nicely designed-i hope you are studying graphic design. and your copyediting was pretty good on the article. why not try working on some articles? I click the Random article link and after about 20 or so articles find something which needs fixing. and have you written anything about your real world experiences with using the internet and your school project? While WP is not a good place to do this work, you should write, and find a way to publish what you write. good luck. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 16:37, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
The file File:Realfreemedia logo quarter.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 08:57, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
