editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Environmental economics, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Flycrates
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Flycrates, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 17:03, 23 February 2018 (UTC)

editHello, Gerryflux. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but Flycrates has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.
Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Users who do so may be blocked from editing. Promotional content is vigorously deleted. Wikipedia:Identifying_blatant_advertising#Typical_signs_of_blatant_advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

Hello What does that mean, exactly? Accepted? In what way? By whom? Cheers, -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 17:33, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
@Dlohcierekim: I'm sorry I wasn't clear on that description, I meant to say I added a section citing accepted (acceptable) items while using Flycrates. Gerryflux (talk) 18:36, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
The article Flycrates has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -NottNott|talk 17:35, 23 February 2018 (UTC)

editPlease do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. -NottNott|talk 18:23, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
@NottNott: I've had no intention of advertising anything, It adds nothing to me individually doing that. I just thought that this startup had a promising future and having used the product a few times, I felt that it wasn't getting the exposure it deserved. Another challenge is that it's pretty hard finding sources to cite from for startups - Flycrates in this case. Gerryflux (talk) 18:40, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- The term "startup" is a strong indication that it is too soon for an article about this business. It must be written about in independent reliable sources with in-depth coverage first, that indicates how WP:ORG, the notability guidelines, are met. 331dot (talk) 19:06, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
@331dot: Noted...I won't contest this any further. Gerryflux (talk) 19:11, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- I don't mean to discourage you; successfully writing a Wikipedia article is actually the most difficult thing to do here. It takes time, practice, and effort, and very few new users can do it on their first try.(it is possible but rare) If you are interested in creating other articles, you may wish to read Your First Article for information on what is being looked for and the process, and then use Articles for Creation to submit a draft for review by another editor before it is formally placed in the encyclopedia. That way you can work out any issues before final placement, instead of afterwards. Best wishes 331dot (talk) 19:28, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
Dulla Makabila moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Dulla Makabila, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Sallam SK
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sallam SK, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sallam SK. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
