You recently created United States Penitentiary, Canaan. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! However, please review WP:NPOV, WP:COPYRIGHT, WP:WEASEL, WP:OR and WP:VERIFY. All information added on wikipedia must not be copied from other pages (as is the case with some of the info on your page). You must also add information that can be verified ("It is one of the most rural, hidden, inconspicuous prisons in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Following the remote site of this prison, any information for this facility is hidden and hard to find." is information that cannot be verified, as it is probably based on opinion.) Again, please review the policies I noted, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks, Onopearls (t/c) 07:14, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the link for you. On "I am speaking from personal experience" that type of information constitutes WP:OR, which is strongly discouraged. Any information that you add to wikipedia must be backed up with sources. For example, http://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/caa/index.jsp would be a website that offers factual data about the prison (although it would appear that some of the info on your page is copied directly from that page, which is in violation of WP:COPYRIGHT). I went ahead and fixed that. And yes, I am looking to adopt new users :). Thanks, Onopearls (t/c) 07:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes you can take pictures, and upload them here http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Upload&uselang=ownwork. Be sure to follow all the steps listed on that page, or your image will likely be deleted. Thanks, Onopearls (t/c) 07:43, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:34, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
