User rights
On the other hand, Oliver's WMF account was created recently, but it's not an admin account. That led to an unfortunate kafuffle a few days ago, because he used his 'pedia admin account to carry out a WMF operation, that in my opinion was perfectly justified, but the hairsplitters made a song and dance about it. Anyway, it's not as if he's going to create articles with his WMF account - any editing of articles by staffers is expected to be done on their local accounts. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:48, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't add the autopatrolled flag to their account (I believe that's what your talking about). It was done by Tristessa de St Ange earlier. I only remove the obsolete confirmed flag. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 05:53, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, I didn't make any admin actions, or any actions with my personal account - User:Philippe made the block. Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 00:14, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Thank You

Protection of Turks in Germany
Hi Gfoley4, just wanted to say thanks for protecting the article. Happy editing!Turco85 (Talk) 13:20, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

- Hi Gfoley4, sorry to bother you again, it seems as though User:Teddycom is still vandalising this article. I have reverted their edit but I'm quite sure that they will remove the estimates and sources again. Can you advice me on what I should do please?Turco85 (Talk) 13:40, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, he's not vandalizing. This is a content dispute – no vandalism has taken place. I have fully protected the article (which I meant to do in the first place :/) —GFOLEY FOUR!— 22:31, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Oh ok, sorry for the misunderstanding! Have a good day. Turco85 (Talk) 13:16, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

This Horrid Troll
Hi, Gfoley4! Thanks for jumping in and deleting the IP's user page: but they have re-created it. Please change the block settings to "cannot edit own talk page" and re-delete, if you could. I would, but I'm not an admin. Cheers :> Doc talk 00:17, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
- Done Hmm, I thought that talk page access had already been revoked. Cheers to you, too. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 00:19, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
RFPP
I'll remember that next time. I'm sorry; I didn't know that fulfilled or denied requests were processed automatically, so I had no idea that the template was anything except a convenience for admins who wanted it. Nyttend (talk) 03:23, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your help, and thanks also for making my first effort at using IRC a pleasant one. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:50, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Template:ProjectNav
Tell me why Template:ProjectNav should have to slog through TFD for a week or longer when it's unused, broken and completely harmless to delete. There's nothing that forbids speedy and XFD from overlapping. Nothing at all. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 20:42, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- I realize that, TenPoundHammer. Where does it say that unused templates can be deleted under G6? I see nothing on that page. Cheers, —GFOLEY FOUR!— 20:57, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- Unused templates can be speedied under T3, but that also takes a seven-day waiting period. Imzadi 1979 → 21:02, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- I think it falls under housekeeping. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 23:19, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, we can agree to disagree. We'll see what another admin does. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 23:20, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

CuriousWikian590 AIV report
You responded to it with a referral to SPI, apparently because the reporting user alleged the account was used for block evasion. However, the report also alleged harassment, which was there in the edit history, and you didn't address that.
I have warned CuriousWikian590 about that, and he hasn't edited since around the time of the AIV. In the future please give any allegations of harassment the highest priority. Doing our fullest to maintain a harmonious editing environment is the most important aspect of our job as administrators. Daniel Case (talk) 19:33, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
A template should be created that resembles Template:Edit for the delete action. Thanks! -- Jab7842 (talk) 19:20, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
- Where would this be used? We can already just code directly (e.g. on the CSD templates). —GFOLEY FOUR!— 19:22, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
