About yesterday
editThe reason I kept erasing your request on my talk page was because of its horrendous timing; the thread(s) above it should have told you that I was too busy trying to stay one step ahead of a 4chan attack. I apologize.
Having said that, I am a tad curious as to the rapid speed of your finding WP:LOBU; but indeed, there is a consensus there. However, I'm not the admin to ask as I was the one who *provoked* the discussion in the first place, so I suggest you find another admin, one not as involved with Liao as I've been. Sorry. —Jeremy (v^_^v Boribori!) 09:54, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Apology accepted. Everyone is always interested in knowing who the banned users on Wikipedia is. I think its good that we have the list as a way to save the integrity of Wikipedia. The vandals have their pride in using the list for glory. It's a win-win situation. I don't understand why some people get upset about giving the vandals recognition. Anyway, I didn't know only an uninvolved admin can add a user to the banned list. I would think involved admins would have more experience and therefore know more about the case than one who wasn't. I don't think you have any bias to the case so it really wouldn't be necessary for an uninvolved admin to take over. I really don't care too much about this. I will leave a note on the noticeboard for an uninvolved admin. Girafe53 (talk) 20:57, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
