Retirement

edit

I understand if you stay retired. However, if you do decide to come back at any point after your block expires and you return to the topic area you were in then I encourage you to use article talk pages to discuss your claims prior to adding/re-adding them. While I agree you were treated uncivilly by other more experienced editors you were also caught up in some of that. In regards to the content issues, I was leaning on my experience outside the arena of medieval history and it has been pointed out that, when it comes to that topic area the general consensus is that policy requires you use a secondary modern source to verify any claims made by a medieval source. Regardless of whether I agree or not that is the consensus and it should be adhered to. As far as civility goes, although it is an essay I encourage you to read Wikipedia:Don't call a spade a spade which I find lines up more with my perspective on WP:CIVIL. Either way, I wish you nothing but success in whatever decision you make. --ARoseWolf 18:26, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

+1 to the above. In my opinion, while you had your (significant) issues, others had too. If you do decide to return, and feel in need of advice, feel free to ask on my talk page.~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 21:42, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
