I work at the University of Sydney and I have known Clare McArthur since 2004. I am aware of the rules for Wikipedia and declare that I may have a perceived conflict of interest but I will endeavour to avoid any bias in the material that is contributed to this page. My reason for deciding to work on a page for this person is to help to remedy the considerable gender bias in the representation of women in science from the University of Sydney in Wikipedia. If persons who know that someone is worthy are limited to not contributing then this bias will continue to persist. I welcome further contributions from ecologists outside our department.
