I disagree with this proposal of yours and have revived the article after it was deleted by another admin. You are of course fully entitled to take the article to AfD. -- Hoary (talk) 03:23, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Hello! I would like to find out why this page - José Filipe Torres, have been deleted? If now there is a lot of credible information and person is well known all around the world. Is it possible to renew this page?
Archimedes Plutonium
I corrected the text to the Archimedes Plutonium entry on Usenet celebrity, removing most of AP's ill-formatted (OR, fringe) text. Hopefully what's there now will suffice. AP is under the impression that I am in control of that portion of the article.[1] Of course, there's a lot about Wikipedia that he just plain does not understand. (This also posted at User talk:Andy Dingley.) — Loadmaster (talk) 17:10, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
- Works for me; thanks for the note. I made two small corrections. Glenfarclas (talk) 17:47, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
I have been working on this with an expert in the field to fix this article. Do you think we are making progress? Bearian (talk) 22:51, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- I appreciate your asking, Bearian, but to be honest, I would consider it "progress" mostly in the sense of WP:MASK. As far as I can tell, this remains a non-notable theory -- one that hasn't drawn significant comment, attention, or coverage -- that deals with a synthesis of possibly-notable concepts. A theory does not achieve notability by being invented in articles (primary sources), it gains notability by being covered in articles (secondary sources). That does not appear to have happened here, unfortunately. Glenfarclas (talk) 06:57, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I found at least one textbook (a secondary source) on the topic by J. Rose, and have discovered some pre-2003 primary sources. I am still working on it. I am an eventualist. Bearian (talk) 20:12, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Gardel Birthplace
It's done. I found a reliable source to confirm Carlos Gardel's birth in Toulouse, France. The UNESCO Courier March 1986 issue. The documentation is in the article. Cheers. Pleasure to be able to put this to rest. Tapered (talk) 00:10, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
bishop Morris
It's happened officially: http://press.catholica.va/news_services/bulletin/news/27343.php?index=27343&lang=en Now bishop Morris bishop-emeritus of Toowoomba--Noel baran (talk) 12:21, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was expecting an announcement this morning but didn't want to jump the gun. Glenfarclas (talk) 17:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- I understand, because doing at the same way. And just because the read information at the official Vatican site, made the correction.... Excuse, that not linked it. Probably because it, has happened this misunderstanding--Noel baran (talk) 20:22, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Sorry......
DYK nomination of Piazza della Rotonda
Hello! Your submission of Piazza della Rotonda at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! DYK for Piazza della Rotonda
On 15 May 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Piazza della Rotonda, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the fountain in Rome's Piazza della Rotonda (pictured) was built by Giacomo della Porta to bring water from the Acqua Vergine aqueduct to the public? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Greetings
Why'd you undo my edit? Gaudete Sunday is the Sunday right before Stir-up Sunday and they're both in Advent. PFAStudent (talk) 05:46, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, you were actually right. Stir-up Sunday is the Sunday right before Advent; I was confused with something else. Oh well, I'll undo my edits there. PFAStudent (talk) 05:57, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for the note. Glenfarclas (talk) 09:09, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Heya. a few minutes ago, you tagged this article as a G4, or deleted recreation. However, I had already noticed the AfD and had asked an admin to check it out on IRC. According to him, the articles were different enough, especially with the addition of a number of sources, that it wouldn't qualify for G4. Thanks, Nolelover Talk·Contribs 23:59, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Huh? The articles are the same, and if anything the sources on this one are worse than they were on the old one. That discussion was only closed a week ago. The issue could go to deletion review, but this is just a straight-up recreation of a deleted article. Glenfarclas (talk) 00:22, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm...I'm no admin, so I can't be sure, but I was told by one that the new article had a lot of added prose and almost entirely different sources. Whether or not those sources are even semi-useful is a different matter, but if you want to revert me and let an admin figure it out, I'm fine with that. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 00:28, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well, the current Babar Malik definitely does not have "a lot of added prose." There's 137 words of text here. Anyway, I do appreciate you giving me a heads up on my talk page. Glenfarclas (talk) 00:42, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- "a lot" being very relative ;) Anyway, it's gone, so thanks, and I'll see you around. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 01:00, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
