editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page List of awareness ribbons do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your source -http://www.lambda.org/- was unsatisfactory. After finding their official page on Talk:List of awareness ribbons, the campaign's ribbon has been included in the article. Having found and read your comment while I was there, I can't say I understand why you chose lambda.org! PrincessWortheverything (talk) 11:25, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

editDo y'know, I've seen this: File:Great Wave off Kanagawa2.jpg, somewhere before.--andreasegde (talk) 16:51, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- I had the Great Wave on my user page, both because it's beautiful, and because the wave is a "glitch" and the boats are "crafts". However, I removed it recently (replacing it with File:Goyo Kamisuki.jpg, another beautiful img) out of sympathy for the recent tsunami (see also the teal ribbon on my user page). Beatles RfC
editHello, this message is to inform you that there is currently a public poll here, to determine whether to capitalize the definite article ("the") when mentioning the band "THE BEATLES" mid-sentence. As you've previously participated either here, here, here, or here, your input would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. ~ GabeMc (talk|contribs) 02:06, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
