Damage control surgery

edit

First off, I want to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. The trauma related contact is lacking in many areas and any helped is valued, especially from a professional. I however would like to make some comments on ways to make your contributions better. Just like a journal we have a Manual of Style that we like to follow in all of our articles. For the most part you are right on the ball, but what you have added needs to be polished a bit to conform to the standards set fourth. Generally your writing style reads more like a review article than an encyclopedic article - be not afraid thought, this is how a lot of people start out. You also use primary source articles, something that we try to avoid, the policy can be found here.

With a bit of minor formatting which I can help out with, I think your contributions will help upgrade the quality of the article, potentially to upgrade it to "Good article" status. One thing I want to stress is that I am not "kicking your sandcastle," I merely trying to encourage you to improve upon your work already to make it shine among the other medical article on Wikipedia.

I am of course available to help you with this process, especially with the "wikitext" markup we use. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns just leave a reply here.
