MAGS Observatory and RASNZ

edit

I note that you have once again removed the paragraph in question from Mount Albert Grammar School#Observatory. If your assertion does turn out to be correct then the information that you are trying to delete would still be of historic interest; it would be preferable to change the paragraph into the past-tense and add dates to it. Also, are you aware of WP:COI? -Arb. (talk) 13:44, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mount Albert Grammar School#Observatory

edit

Please do not remove tags from articles unless the issue they highlight has been resolved. The Observatory section is completely unreferenced (there does not appear to be any mention of MAGS on the MicroFUN site so I have converted it to an external link; if that is a mistake please provide a link to the correct page). If you are interested in which facts need references see this version. -Arb. (talk) 14:56, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Where are the references for the section on the School Farm? or for the Philips Aquatic Center? or for the schools history? Are you going to request citations for those sections as well? Be consistent. All the information you request is on the schools website. If you follow the Microfun Workshop link from the main page I have referenced, you will see me smiling to you on Monday, Session 2. They haven't updated the rest of their website lately. I don't think that's my fault. Neither has RASNZ. I shall email them both. There are no issues except in your head. I don't think I can help with those either..Gmoney484 (talk) 20:13, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

My interest is only in the observatory section but arguably the whole article is short of references and should be tagged (as the Alumni section is). As for the rest, you should read Wikipedia:Verifiability if you have not already done so. As well, take a look at Wikipedia:Civility. -Arb. (talk) 22:48, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
You are right, of course. My comments were inappropriate and I apologise. I have emailed RASNZ to remove the old information. The information on the MAGS wiki is 100% correct (as I stated it). Personally I don't find the historical fact interesting or relevant but again maybe I'm wrong. I think the verifiability comes here Wikipedia:SelfpubGmoney484 (talk) 01:07, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Halcyon Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Studio (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Katango

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Katango, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. VQuakr (talk) 07:28, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
