Hi I posted this request in April 2014 and there has beeen no action on it since then. Can someone please tell me whether I've made the request in the correct way? New here and still learning how to do this stuff.

January 2017: Errr, obviously not...

I would start at Wikipedia: Teahouse if you have been waiting that long for a response.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:42, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Alternatively check out WP:RM#Requesting_a_single_page_move, it clearly states edit at the bottom of the talk page of the article you want moved. The wanted talk page is Talk:Kabye_language, and "NewName" should be "Kabiye language" without the double quotes. That yields…

My error

edit

Looking at the History page, I mistook your edit on Alternative Facts for another edit, posted a nasty message, and realized my error. I thought I blanked my message, and it appears that I must have selected way too much text for deletion. It was completely unintentional, very sloppy, and I'm sorry you had to replace what I erased.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:39, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Bonjour

edit

Bonjour Anthere Effectivement, Oliver Stegen m'a signalé votre intérêt.
Gnangbade (talk) 08:00, 18 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Gnangbade (talk) 19:04, 18 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Hello, I just classified your article Adiza Sanoussi, and have noticed that you appear to have a formatting issue with references. When citing the web, be sure to use the proper reference format[1] Don't just paste the URLs into the page, as it makes the article look unprofessional. If you have any questions, just ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Happy editing. Firstclass306 (talk) 23:59, 17 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice, but what do you means by "the proper reference format"? I don't understand the footnote you've provided. Gnangbade (talk) 07:52, 18 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Tanougou Falls

edit

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Gnangbade, thanks for creating Tanougou Falls!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please help improve the referencing

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Boleyn (talk) 21:27, 9 July 2017 (UTC) Hi Boleyn (talk) thanks for your message. Actually, I'm unlikely to do anything more on this article having got the ball rolling because I exhausted all the web references I could find. But I do have a question: the article contains three statements each of them supported by a reference, so why has it been assessed as needing more? Gnangbade (talk) 17:21, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gnangbade, I think you're right, I've removed the tag. The tag is actually 'refimprove' but its wording does indicate additional souces being eneded. I think for a moderately notable geographical feature in Africa, the sources are what they are. Blogs aren't usually accepted as WP:RELIABLESOURCES and the others, as promoting tourism in the area, are to an extent WP:PRIMARYSOURCES. However, it is notable per WP:GEOLAND and there's not much better to get via the Net, so no real gain to having a tag. Thanks for your response, Boleyn (talk) 18:12, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rhumel River moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Rhumel River, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article St Paul de Notsé Interdiocesan Major Seminary has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find enough in-depth coverage to meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
