Hi, wanted to thank you for your contributions to the general mess that has been Domestication of the horse. And in particular, thanks for making SOURCED contributions. However, also wanted to give you a heads up that I am wordsmithing the article quite a bit, as it was unreadable before and it is now longer and even more difficult to follow. Some folks take this personally, I don't mean it that way. I put in some hidden text at places where my editing was extensive and could raise eyebrows, I also popped in a few "fact" tags on stuff that still looks a bit dubious. Anyhow, thanks, and keep plugging away. Montanabw(talk) 16:53, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Got your message, it works for me. I'll put a welcome message on your user page that has a bunch of helpful links you can read. Oh, and FYI, you can't cite your own stuff here. Be sure to read Wikipedia:Verifiability. As for the rest, you figured out how to do footnotes, just imitate the markup language for the other stuff too. (like using <!--hidden text--> to put in remarks that don't show in the article itself.) Takes a while, but you'll get it. And because we can't use our own stuff, tooting your horn too much about your own credentials is sort of frowned upon...if you know what you are talking about, it shows! Pretty good edit in the domestication article. I don't say that often. In fact, NICE JOB! I of course had to tweak some, but far less than I anticipated. Will be adding a bunch of wikilinks, but that is something you will pick up with time as you just become more aware of what other articles are out there, I still miss some. No big deal there.
