Why reverted

You made a contribution to one article that was an unreferenced personal observation, reverted, and in an article about a Canadian person changed Canadian English spelling to American, also reverted. Per your question at Teahouse, look at articles on topics you are familiar with, to see how those are referenced. Websites, newspapers and magazines are commonly used reliable source references.
