Request reason:
I do not know exactly why I am blocked from editing. On the block notice it say another user, "Dolphin Cat" has been banned. I don't know who this is. I am not sure why them getting banned is related to me. I am the only one who uses this device. Any help from administrators would be helpful. Gorman Freedon (talk) 17:23, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Come on. Of course the accounts are related. Two people interested in Half Life and royalty are on the same IP address? What are the odds of that? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:32, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- For any reviewing admin: Dolphin Cat is stale, but from the CU log I can verify that this account is operating on the same IP and that ISP is usually pretty static across time. Use behaviour, but this is certainly a technical possibility. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:31, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of DolphinCat (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · logs · block log · arb · rfc · lta · SPI · cuwiki) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
