editHi Gr8alias, I saw your note on Wikipedia:New user log. According to this article, the bright yellow-orange flames visible in the video indicate a temperature of 1000 °C to 1200 °C (1832–2192 °F). Yikes! The Steel article indicates steel making temperatures are around 1300 °C. Even if it were cooler, structural failure of the prestressed steel and concrete from the expansion of high differential temperature along a sharp temperature gradient could lead to fractures.
