Updating caps and stats

edit

Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Robby.is.on (talk) 11:45, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Grantw07. Please keep this in mind. I updated the timestamp at Kevin van Veen for you in this change. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 11:11, 22 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Marc Waters (footballer, born 1996) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Marc Waters. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 10:29, 9 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Conner McGlinchey article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 09:01, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Conner McGlinchey, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 11:38, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Conner McGlinchey. GiantSnowman 11:39, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Infobox stats

edit

As you have been asked on a few times previously, please ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 16:44, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

For the final time - you MUST update the date when you update the stats. By failing to do so, you are introducing facially inaccurate information. GiantSnowman 16:42, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
