Collages

edit

I like your collages. I just wanted to suggest that the black borders are slightly too wide. Have or can you create similar ones with a thinner border? - Shiftchange (talk) 09:22, 24 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Shiftchange, I'm glad you like my collages. I will try in future to create them with thinner borders but personally I think they aren't too big. I have looked at some other collages and they appear to have border sizes similar to mine. I don't know if there are any specific wikipedia guidelines regarding this but if there are please point me in the correct direction. :)

Hello, I'm Graham87. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Graham87 that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Graham87 08:11, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Because they're promotional. Graham87 08:22, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

How is it promotional? many thousands of other wikipedia pages describe what has been said about cities etc and Townsville is no different and how is updated population data promotional? I am not sure why you are trying to make my life difficult. I just wanted the page to be updated and not seem like it was written by someone that hates the place. I am having a sad new years day now that the information provided has been removed, I provided sources and I am not affiliated with any company, I was just stating facts. It is one of the fastest growing cities and that is a fact, it is not promoting in any way and if you feel that way then I am sorry and I don't know how I can change your mind. Pleasde change the population data back at least.

Ah, you've finally figured out how to reply properly, unlike your attemt on my talk page. Since you've admitted to evading the block on 118.208.77.2, I've blocked you for block evasion. Graham87 08:38, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not very user friendly, It is very hard to reply or talk to people.

On advice from another editor, I've unblocked you; sorry about the blocks yesterday. Graham87 04:24, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Voluminous edit summaries

edit

are a total waste of your time, and others, after a few edits they disappear... into what consititutes edit history and a big black hole

regardless of your issue with an admin there are more constructive ways of dealing with your issue(s)

try the admins talk page, for a start... JarrahTree 11:40, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

And ... you can't now, because I've blocked you again. I should have realised you were the same person from before editing as an IP ... consider yourself lucky I didn't make the block permanent. Graham87 11:48, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Angelo Spizzirri

edit

Hello, Greditdesu

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Velella, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Angelo Spizzirri, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Velella}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

@Velella: Very disgusted that this article was deleted, he did have minor roles but was definitely not an extra, why other wikipedia users take it upon themselves to delete articles like this because they themselves don't consider them "notable" is beyond me. It is done in poor faith and considering what is going on in the world an article of this nature should be of minor concern. There are plenty of other articles for actual extras and actors who only have 1 or two acting credits to there name and they don't get deleted. Wikipedia is dying because what people consider relevant is subjective, you might write an article on someone and because I have not heard of them would I propose it for deletion because I don't consider them notable? No I would not. What you have done is disgusting and a disgrace to the Spizzirri family and an afront to the people who remember him fondly. He is well known to fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Movie The Rookie. I am not going to bother redoing this article as I hate Wikipedia now, it is not worth anyones time if people on a power trip are going to keep interfering.

Blocked

edit

I've now made the block permanent ... edits like some of your recent ones from 117.20.70.74 are the final straw. You will not get a second chance this time and are not welcome here. Graham87 15:33, 13 September 2020 (UTC) Yeh cool, no one cares anymore Graham87. Google search yourself and you will find quite a few people are tired of your bossy and exclusionist behaviour which verges on discrimination.Reply

I have given up on Wikipedia.

edit

I used to like Wikipedia and contributing to it, but sadly it has become far to political and regulated and as such it is hard for people like myself to follow, I don't even understand the User Interface, 8 years and I still can't figure out how to properly send a message to someone, I don't know why my edits just get deleted over and over and normally by the same person. Large parts of Wikipedia are out of date for example showing census data from years ago instead of the current data or referencing past events as if they are current, you can't correct them or you will get blocked. I know on the Proserpine, Queensland page I placed a lot of photos that gave a better pictorial view of the place and someone has gone a long and gradually removed most of them and I have had at least 20 people mention to me "Why did you delete your photos" and I told them I didn't, someone else did and they said well that sucks and frankly that just sums Wikipedia up. I am going to make a conscious effort to never use Wikipedia again and I hope that all the begging for donations falls on deaf ears and Wikipedia does shut down because its what it deserves and maybe then the overzealous moderators would have to deal with real life.

Block

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cabayi (talk) 11:25, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

This is the notice Graham87 omitted to leave for you when blocking your account. I'm prepared to believe that the lack of guidance on how to appeal may have contributed to your IP editing in evading your block but you'll need to convince the admin who responds to your appeal of that. Good luck, Cabayi (talk) 11:25, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
