Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Don't use terms such as "we" and "ourselves". Wikipedia is not in the business of maintaining swimming pools. It's also not a term paper or a scientific paper. We don't try to draw conclusions or prove hypotheses. We report what reliable, secondary published sources say about a subject. Don't add your own commentary, don't add unsourced material, and don't throw scientific papers in as sources when they make no mention of swimming pools. If bacterial resistance to chlorination or bacterial biofilms are an issue in swimming pools then provide reliable sources that say so. It's WP:SYNTH to provide sources that discuss bacterial resistance to chlorination or bacterial biofilms in the presence of chlorine and imply that they are an issue in chlorinated swimming pools when the sources do not mention swimming pools. By the way, I suggest you read (or reread) the guide to editing Wikipedia that is linked in the Wiki Ed page for your course: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/Editing_Wikipedia_brochure_%28Wiki_Education_Foundation%29_%282017%29.pdf#page=12 It covers the above issues, and the additional points that per WP:MOS section headers are in sentence case (thus "‎Drawbacks of chlorination"", not "‎Drawbacks of Chlorination" as you added), and that it's a good idea to add your material in small increments.Meters (talk) 06:15, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
