Welcome to Wikipedia!

edit

Dear Green Wolf Cub: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! Ksbrowntalk 21:44, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ho Silver Lining

edit

Please try to reach a reasonable compromise over this with your fellow claimant (see Talk) or I shall severely prune both your claim and theirs to get a compromise which has some value to the rest of the world, as well as being factually accurate. Bob aka Linuxlad 16:29, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've reverted your last change as I said I would. Please take the issue to the article talk page. Please do not split the para on other recordings away from the main part of the article. Bob aka Linuxlad 08:10, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

See talk page to Hi Ho Silver Lining. I shall ask for admin action (under the '3 reverts rule') if we cannot get a compromise on the Football Chants section agreed. Bob aka Linuxlad 07:41, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

You've again made an inappropriate edit with no supporting reference. I shall wait a few days to see if you can devise a more reasonable position... Bob aka Linuxlad (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 22:20, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

November 2010

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Manchester. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ståle Solbakken managerial statistics

edit

Hi there. I've undid your edits to Ståle Solbakken twice, and the reason for this is that the penalty win against Aldershot in the first round of the League Cup counts as a draw. If you disagree with this, start a discussion on the article's talk page, or leave me a message on my talk page. Cheers, Mentoz86 (talk) 18:18, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of A Load of Bull

edit

The article A Load of Bull has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable fanzine, no reliable or third party sources, fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
