Typically, WP:USRD, the U.S. Roads WikiProject, only splits out what we call "state-detail" articles for multi-state highways when we have written a Route description section of appropriate length and started an exit list table. Ideally the article should have the start of a History section as well. Based on our project assessment criteria, an article is Stub-Class if it has only one of the "Big Three" sections (RD, History, or Exit list), while two of those sections will elevate it to Start-Class, which is our usual guideline for when to split and maintain a separate article. If you have any questions, USRD's talk page can be found at WT:USRD, and we have a new-user orientation at WP:USRD/NEW. Imzadi 1979  20:10, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Interstate Highways in Texas

edit

Hello Greenday25,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Interstate Highways in Texas for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Sosthenes12 (talk) 00:31, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Template:Williamson County, Texas Highways

edit

Thank you for your work on Template:Williamson County, Texas Highways while it was at Articles for creation. After some misunderstandings that this was a template rather than an article, it was accepted into the encyclopedia. I changed the color scheme to match similar templates and added it to highways which were already using Texas-county-level highway templates OR which were entirely within Williamson County, Texas. There are two Williamson-county highway articles that are missing, see Template talk:Williamson County, Texas Highways for details. By the way, your edit that made the title "bold" was lost along the way. This isn't a big deal, as many Texas county highway article navigation templates do not bold the heading. It would be nice if they were all consistent. If you want to make them all consistent, that would be a nice thing to do. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 18:59, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Search page

edit

I just noticed you made an edit to Help:Search. Well, there's been a swirl of activity on that page, and your edit got swept away by me. Wanna talk about it here? I'd just like to say that a redirect is a page name. It's technical, but I would have said "page name or redirect" myself until recently: "Ya go to the search results page if your entry into the search box is not a page name or a redirect." That's a pretty sophisticated addition, and there is a subtle reason not to say it. Are you not so green? Do you get that a redirect is a page name, or would you like to debate that? — CpiralCpiral 04:44, 27 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
