Speedy deletion nomination of F. Gregory Holland
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on F. Gregory Holland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 02:36, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Help request
editThis request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
Restoral consideration. This is a Request for F. Gregory Holland (Greg's wiki (talk) 05:34, 14 March 2015 (UTC)).
Comments: Additional notable and reliable sources are being procured. The request was made earlier through the Deletion Review section of Wikipedia. This needs to be directed to an Administrator. Pardon any unintentional error.
- This request was answered yesterday at WP:REFUND#F. Gregory Holland, but for convenience I will repeat the answer here: as the article was deleted after the deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/F. Gregory Holland, you should first approach the administrator who closed the discussion, user Czar (talk). Clicking on "talk" after his name will take you to his talk page; then click "New section" at the top, and fill in a heading and your message for Czar. Before you do that, read WP:MUSICBIO to understand Wikipedia's WP:Notability requirement for articles about musicians and, if you are F. Gregory Holland, read Wikipedia:Autobiography.
- If after Czar's response you are still unhappy, the place to apply is WP:Deletion review. Instructions are at the top of tht page. JohnCD (talk) 12:32, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
