editThank you for letting me know. Hey I have an issue, I edit the page on Sock Monkeys, and put the website down which should be www.sockmonkeyministry.com as an external link. Everytime, the person who edits it uses my information, but changes the link to their link which is sockmonkey.net It is really frustrating...is there a way to report that? The have done it on several occassions, I edit it back, using my words, then they go and change the link to their web address. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sockmonkey205 (talk • contribs) 00:47, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- You should adress this on the talk page for that article. Then perhaps all the people checking it, helps you out. Greswik 14:34, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

My recent RfA
editThank you for participating in my recent RfA. Although the voting ended at 36/22/5, there was no consensus to promote, and the RfA was unsuccessful. I would like the thank you nonetheless for supporting me during the RfA, and hope that any future RfA’s proceed better than this one did. Again, I thank you for your support. ≈ The Haunted Angel Review Me! 02:30, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Ericsson R290 AfD
editHi, and sorry to bother you with an unsolicited message... I'd just like to encourage you, as somebody who commented on the deletion discussion for the Ericsson R310s, to also spare a moment to consider the AfD for the Ericsson R290. I'm honestly not intending to be canvassing you for a particular point of view in the debate; I'd just like to be sure this gets noticed and considered by editors who've an awareness of the subject area. Thanks :) – Kieran T (talk) 00:17, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I get to it when (and if) I get to it, wading thru the AFDs. I agree with you I don't understand why someone seems to want to delete "all" the cell-phone articles, but I hope you know canvassing is not the thing. Greswik 22:50, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Greeswik
editAre you aware there's a user User:Greeswik redirecting to your pages? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:28, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- Not at all. Wow. Surprise! Any idea what I should do? I mean, it seems a bit odd... and no other edit than the redirect. Greswik (talk) 14:30, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Report it to Wikipedia:Usernames_for_administrator_attention, if it's not you then it's a clear case of deliberate impersonation (since they've edited the same articles as you) and a violation of naming policy. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:11, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh; just noticed you mentioned 'no edits', they definitely had some, as that's how I noticed it. They were editing the same page after you and I noticed the names were different in the history. Can't recall what page it was, perhaps it was on an AfD you were doing and it's gone now?. Either way, they were definitely trying to appear to be you. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:21, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
RfA Thanks
editThank you for participating in my RfA, which was successful with a vote of 33/7/4.
Special thanks go to Epbr123 for nominating me and Pedro for the offer of help.
I am honoured by the trust placed in me by the community. I hope to repay this by the wise use of the tools, which I intend to use gradually. Mop & bucket is on the Christmas list - honest. Keith D (talk) 00:33, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Great success!
editDear Greswik,
Thank you for your participation in my request for adminship, which ended successfully with a final tally of (52/10/1). I was impressed by the thoughtful comments on both sides, and the RFA process in general. The extra buttons do look pretty snazzy, but I'll be careful not to overuse them. If you have advice to share or need assistance with anything, feel free to drop me a message or email. Thank you and good day! Cordially, Credits - This RFA thanks was inspired by Carlosguitar's RFA thanks and LaraLove's RFA thanks, which were both inspired by The Random Editor's RFA thanks, which was in turn inspired by Phaedriel's RFA thanks. |

Commentary in Village Pump
editAs an aside to my response there, it would be much more in line to take issue with my verbiage on a talk page rather than the discussion; it serves no purpose there and certainly doesn't assist your rebuttal. Aeternitas827 (talk) 05:30, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- I certainly think comments about which words to use in a discussion very often belongs in the discussion. I think it not belongs on a talk-page, unless someone chooses to take it there. And I didn't. You did, fair enough, here, but in this case did I not. Greswik (talk) 16:43, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

About article Hampus Hellekant
editThe links provided does not support the statements about convictions. Please check the swedish wikipedia discussion for this article. --193.10.143.118 (talk) 15:54, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Naturally, I checked this before I did anything. But it doesn't solve anything. Expect perhaps, the links in the swedish version is clearer? Greswik (talk) 17:02, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
About the page SYRIACS
editI dont understand why, but user Chaldean keeps removing everything in the article Syriacs. i have written alot of text with many references but hes keep removing. can you warn him or something? VegardNorman (talk) 21:46, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- You must have noticed I tried asking about this on the users talk page yesterday. It would probably be better if you had taken this request to the articles talk page, and then opened up for assistance from the entire community. Have you ever gotten any reason why this content should not be there, or do you have any suspicions, btw? Greswik (talk) 16:10, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- You can't take this user seriously. He has just created an account and is going through pages removing things that he doesn't like (which are sourced) and putting up things that he doesn't source. Everything he is trying to edit have been solved in the past with people from different sides inclusing moderator User:Garzo. "VegardNoram" has no credintials. Chaldean (talk) 23:51, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Why "I" dont want a Syriacs page? First of all its not "I", so don't I'd appreciate it if you don't gently accuse me of dictatorship. Second of all, WE, the experts on the issue, who include but not all, moderators User:Garzo and User:Dbachmann, Users - User:Benne, User:Tourskin, User:EliasAlucard, User:Suryoye and many others; have come to a conclusion that it is a fact that "Syriac" is indeed not considered an ethnic group by the international body. It is instead a reference to many different things, primarly the Syriac Christianity and Syriac Language. It is important to note that the people that are associated with these two important topics are internationally called and known as Assyrians. Everything I have said has been backed up with numerious amount of references. As for me telling you not to take this user seriously, I'll give you an example; Look at his explanatino of this edit [[1]] - visit Syria? First of all it is sourced on the infobox, but this user is just to ignorant or just doesn't know how Wiki works. Second of all visit Syria? Myabe this user needs to be aware that the vast majority of Syriac speakers live in Iraq, not Syria. Chaldean (talk) 17:25, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- Syriacs are recognized as a ethnic group in the whole world in countrys as sweden, netherlands, turkey, syria, lebanon (arameans) etc. only in sweden there are 80 000 SYRIACS. the Syriac national association in sweden got 20 000 members against the assyrian national association in swedens 8 000 members. i am syriac, and im under a another flag, the syriac flag that is way different from the assyrian flag. i have another history ( the aramean history) when you have your own "assyrian" history. there are millions of people worldwide calling them self SYRIACS (suryoye oromoye) that is differnet from ASsyrians (Suryoye othoroye). there is a syriac channel called SURYOYO SAT, and its logo is the Syriac/aramaic flag. there is the Syriac/aramaic universal alliance and their logo is the syriac/aramaic flag. the syriac/aramaic party in lebanon is called aramaic democratic organisatoin and its party logo is the syriac/aramaic flag. and the syriac people in lebanon call them selfs for syriac/arameans. it is only you CHALDEAN and ELIASALUCARD that thinks that the syriacs are "assyrians". i can put up 600 sources and references that shows that we, the syriacs, are a ethic group and descendants to the ARAMAEANS, not the "assyrians". 85.226.122.174 (talk) 15:38, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Look, none of the sources he's putting up pass WP:RS. It's just POV propaganda they're trying to rehash here. — EliasAlucard (Discussion · contribs) 00:37, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

- Then explain it on the talk-page of the articles, and get a consensus there. As it stands now, this seems to have been discussed on the talk-page(s) before, and with a very clear outcome: he is. Greswik (talk) 18:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
