Game Link Cable

Where did you see this persons name in association with those slides and beyond that this is still anecdotal. There is no reference to prior art in the patents from what I can tell and no verifiable source other than this line in this slide. Either improve the citation or it can't stay. Ok, but you understand that him simply saying this in this way doesn't simply make it so and I can find no suggestion anyplace else that this anecdote is true. Literally everyone is pointing to the Wikipedia article or this slide. This statement needs way more context as it could simply be, "we went with a Molex cable of this design we saw on a GameBoy because that's what was a good price point"... or "the team thought that the robustness of the Nintendo cable was a goal to achieve"... or even, see here's the patent where we indicated prior art. So far I see none of this and I've been researching this for a few hours to try and find some independent corroboration about this claim. I know this is frustrating and even those first two examples would be shaky unless we had more than just his anecdote to carry it. BcRIPster (talk) 03:15, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
