RfA
editHi Groomtech. About three years ago you briefly addressed comments about the question you pose on every RfA, but during the elapsed time, I've noticed that it appears to be one of the main things you do here on Wikipedia. Perhaps you might wish to consider the latest developments in the discussions about the relevancy of RfA questions - many users feel that the quality of the questions is one of the reasons that are holding back experienced, mature editors from accepting to be proposed for adminship. This essay on the subject has attracted a lot of interest - please don't hesitate to voice your opinion on the RfA talk page. Regards, --Kudpung (talk) 00:30, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- I have not even been editing for three years. Asking RFA questions is a small part of my activity. You chose to class a question I have asked at RFA as "Irrelevant, or prying into private personal opinion". So I do not feel particularly enthusiastic about this request. - Thank you. It was the answer I expected. --Kudpung (talk) 05:29, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- I appologise. It was my error and probably comes from my over enthusiasm to clean up RfA as a process. Between May 2009 and May 2010 you made 8 comments at WT:RFA, and you first began editing on 3 May 2009, with a total of 1,615 edits to date. Nevertheless, we are all entitled to our opinions, and my essay is clearly marked as an opinion piece. Whether you agree with it or not, I would genuinely welcome your ideas. Please do not hesitate to make a comment or a suggestion for improvement of the RfA process on its talk page. Regards, --Kudpung (talk) 03:49, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
I gave my reasons on the talk page. Serendipodous 10:42, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
