Willie George
editI have edited Willie George but I am concerned about the article. The only real claim to notability for this subject is the fact that he was named on of the "50 Most Influential Christians in America" by Christian Executive Magazine. However, I can find no verification of this fact other than in the pastor's on biography on this site. This is not a valid citation, and has been removed. Further, I cannot find any evidence for the existence of Christian Executive Magazine at all. I did find a website for a magazine called Church Executive but I am unable to search the archives of said magazine without signing up for a subscription (thank you, no). Can you provide any other evidence of the notability of Pastor George? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:21, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
Unverified Claim Removed by Article Author
edit--> your collaborative user edit does rightly point out that there is no readily verifiable data to back up the claim that Pastor Willie George was "recently named one of the "50 Most Influential Christians in America" by Christian Executive Magazine." (no good link to this magazine can be found) This claim has been removed and I submit that Willie George still remains notable for his role as "Gospel Bill" and for his innovative international impact in the Children's Ministry. --Gu2542 (talk) 18:46, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
- I have looked at the Gospel Bill article, and I don't find evidence there (or in any online search) that this show can be considered "notable". I don't see any other evidence in your article on Willie George that defines his "innovative international impact" on Children's Ministry. Can you please provide some evidence of this impact? Added: information ref Fire By Nite to Willie George article. Some more work continues on the Willie George article and I want to thank you so much for helping/guiding me along in my first article--I want to do it right of course. There is much I don't know and so I would ask how to change the misspelling (Minsters) of the category name "American Christian Minsters", as this category is a good idea on your part. Also, How do I get this page submitted to the Christian wiki project?--Gu2542 (talk) 20:31, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
