Thank you for the Abel explanation. Do you see a good way to add that to the article? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:09, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Gerda, I do not think that the Carl/Karl story is important. However, you could add references to Knape's Abel biography and his work catalogue. For historical reasons the name Walter Knape should be present in this article:
Walter Knape, Bibliographisch-thematisches Verzeichnis der Kompositionen von Karl Friedrich Abel (1723–1787), Cuxhaven, 1971)
Walter Knape, Karl Friedrich Abel, Leben und Werk eines frühklassischen Komponisten, (Bremen: Schünemann, 1973)
And: I saw that the target of the last link "Eröffnungskonzert..." is no longer there. Guentersberg (talk) 15:25, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, both fixed. Next time you can do it yourself ;) - What do you think of explaining of your user page where you come from? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:10, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
