Your message on my talk page

edit

Thank you for leaving a message on my talk page about my PROD notifications for the above articles. Have you read Wikipedia's policy on notability? That is the key principle for articles on Wikipedia. The fact that similar stuff exists is not an argument to avoid deletion. Also, please sign your messages on talk pages by typing 4 tildes (~) at the end. Thank you. --ukexpat (talk) 17:05, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Announcing new articles

edit

Hey Guillame, I noticed you just created a lot of new video game articles. You might want to announce your new articles to the video game WikiProject community, do so here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/New article announcements. Keep up the good work! Finally, when you add a fair use rationale to images you should provide a rationale that specifies specifically which article the image will be used in. For a better explanation, see: Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Video Game Images. Cheers, JACOPLANE • 2008-01-25 15:52

Hi Guillaume, please be careful when adding external links, which generally need to be kept to a minimum. In particular, the easyretro.com "play online" links; many of these games are still under copyright. theleagacy.de links shouldn't be added when links to english-languages sites like mobygames already exist. See WP:External links for more info! Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 17:20, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've replied to you on my talk page, but also I wanted to welcome you to Wikipedia, too :> Drop me a note if you need any help at all. Marasmusine (talk) 17:58, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spam Warning

edit

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia.

Very simply put, all of your contributions have been veiled promotions of your site, easyretro.com. That includes spamming links to your site, spamming images related to your site, and creating articles on games that relate to your site. Please case and desist. If you want to seriously contribute articles, I suggest using resources separate from your site. Likewise, none of the commercial games you are linking to provide adequate "written approval" for their appearance. Case in point R-Type and Klax, which are properties owned by Irem and Midway Games respectively. Not by the people you are trying to link to, and there is certainly no evidence of a written contractual agreement giving any sort of permission. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 18:26, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Cpc chicago90 2.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Cpc chicago90 2.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --MuZemike 17:56, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

There are also some other ones in which I have similarly tagged for deletion for the exact same reason, but instead of placing the same above message over and over again, I will list those below (some others may be added). Keep in mind that most of them are basically redundant; we don't need more than gameplay image that shows the same thing in any one article.
Regards, --MuZemike 18:05, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

FYI, another one I just also tagged for deletion as a redundant image that I removed: File:Cpc downhill challenge 2.png.

--MuZemike 21:40, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Another one also tagged: File:St elemental-2.png.

The article Cookie and Bibi 3 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability after searching Google and Google Books.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
