I suggest you lay off the threats, you don't have the power to have me banned. And in any dispute arbitration, making such threats will count against yourself. You might also want to consider reading through WP:Five Pillars and WP:3RR. Akerbeltz (talk) 14:30, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Juanito Oiarzabal. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I see nothing wrong with including Juanito's Basqueness. You on a quest of some kind, Guipuzcoa? Qwrk (talk) 14:53, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Of course I don´t have the power to banned you, but I will suggest some editor do it if you continue with your political changes, If you like basque culture, talk about basque culture (i like too) but no eliminate anymore spanish or spain and not manipule with spanish basque. I revised your contributions and is all that you are doing with IñakiLL
Basque country today is just a spanish region and talk about our people as no spanish is just a political manipulation. Please stop do this, this is a encyclopedia not a political meeting.
About Guipuscoa or Gipuzcoa I will re-open soon a debat, because when you are talking about consesous, I just see your opinion and opinions of four more friends of you, and this is imposition!!
Wikipedia hopefully is made not only for you, but for thousends of people.
regards Guipuscoa
Qwrk, I don´t tolere that you accuse me of not having good faith, I think is YOU the person that has not good faith. Juanito is spanish born in basque autonomy region of Spain, there is not spanish basque. Also this is not such innocent comment because you wrote to Iñakill the next:
"Hola Iñaki. I noticed the minor edit of Edurnes nationality where you changed this from Spanish to Basque. You have all my sympathy for doing so, especially as I have lived in Euskadi for some time, and the Basque cause is one I very much take to heart. I'd appreciate it if you would consider the following though; AFAIK Wikipedia guidelines for nationality only considers independent and sovereign states. Having said that, I must admit I myself have made several similar edits as I think you'd have a strong case for doing so [and one of the best looking flags in the world! Basque Country], but then be consistent and change Juanitos nationality as well, and all other where the same applies. That's why I did not revert it as I'd like to find consensus or be able to press this case as a combined effort. Qwrk (talk) 08:22, 18 May 2010 (UTC)"
So please Qwrk stop it. If you have political sympathy this is not the place to manipulate, and I remenber you that the 80% of basques we don´t agree whit the terrorism, here in Spain or there in Australia.
Regards Guipuscoa
First things first, Guipuscoa. I've restructured your comments a little bit to make the easily distinguishable form other edits. I'd also appreciate if you sign your edits, by adding four tildes [~, that one].
OK, your "Quest" on banning the usage of Basque as an indicator of one's identity. In the short time you've been adding / restructuring / deleting information on Wikipedia, all your actions point to this "Basque" issue that you so vehemently try and bring across. Iñaki had a serious and good argument in replying; Could you imagine an article of Barcelona football club without its mentioning of their Catalan identity, wouldn't it be depriving the reader of information?
On several Talk Pages and User Pages we've been discussing stuff like this, trying to find some kind consensus. Now you stroll in and start hacking away at things you obviously don't like, but the community hears no word from you suggesting anything at all that would be suitable for the lot of us. You don't argue, Guipuscoa, you discuss with a hammer and a threatening knife!
And while we're at it, Guipuscoa, last time I checked with Juanito, his reply was that he was firmly rooted in Euskal Herria. Go check for yourself if it's that important to you.
And you appear to be in the know of my terrorist intentions? What did I write there? Yes, re-read your own words again, Guipuscoa. If you have political sympathy this is not the place to manipulate, and I remenber you that the 80% of basques we don´t agree whit the terrorism, here in Spain or there in Australia. Good reasoning has it that A] I, Qwrk, stated the Basque cause is one I very much take to heart. From which you conclude that B] this equals If you have political sympathy this is not the place to manipulate, after which you finish it off with C] 80% of basques we don´t agree whit the terrorism, here in Spain or there in Australia. Yes, my take to heart equals your idea of terrorism, Guipuscoa. You're a fine philosopher and your logic reasoning is excellent! Using this style of expressing your thoughts simply disqualifies you and all arguments you have brought forward thus far. But I have a slight notion you're not willing or able to understand even that.
Qwrk (talk) 22:06, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Funny , that you said to me "I have a slight notion you're not willing or able to understand even that" when you bad way to think shows your small intelligence. You started whith descalifications and insults!!. tipical of people whithout solid arguments!!
Your example whit the F.C BArcelona is wonderfull, there is thousends of people in all Spain that love it , In Seville, in Alicante and even in Madrid and allmost nobody look at the Barcelona as something political, only people like you that are interesting in give a false and political image of all. And If juanito feel or not fell Spanish, there is no question, now in his passport is writen Spain, so is Spanish born in basque region of Spain, even in Australia is people that does not like Australia. (very offen, by the way). And also the rest of the biographys that this group of manipulators are triying to change to basque were born in XV and XVI centurys... I remenber you that the basque nationalism started only in XIX century and all this people that they are triying to "put" under basque idelogy, they were more Spanish than the 99 per cents of spanish today, so please Stop it!!! and learn a little bit History (if you now what is that) Guipuscoa
Guipuscoa, I haven't got time right now to address all issues in your rant [maybe later today], but please do me a favour and start discussing the grievances you have on the appropriate pages before hacking around where you deem fit. With regards to Juanito I've opened up a section here (or on other Basque related pages) and feel free to discuss what you see as appropriate terminology / fitting classification. Qwrk (talk) 15:28, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've brought up this topic on Wikiquette in the hope of finding a more wide-ranging solution. Akerbeltz (talk) 22:39, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Lope de Aguirre

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lope de Aguirre. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

I notice that you have never left a comment at Talk:Lope de Aguirre, so it will be hard for you to claim that you are backed by consensus. If reverting of Basque nationality continues across multiple articles it is likely that blocks for edit warring will be issued. If you have strong feelings about this it would be wise for you to reopen the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Basque. In this way you may avoid being blocked. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:31, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
