DYK for Fiery-browed starling

edit

On 24 March 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Fiery-browed starling, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the fiery-browed starling, found only on Sulawesi in Indonesia, forms mixed flocks with the Sulawesi myna and grosbeak starling? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Fiery-browed starling. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Fiery-browed starling), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to List_of_inventions_in_the_medieval_Islamic_world: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. You didn't warned the IP. [1]. Please warn them after reverting vandalism. Sincerely, Masum Reza 10:12, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:49, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
