Request reason:
I'm a registered user I'm not sure why I'm blocked from editing the article Ko Wen-je even when I'm logged in. I've translated the whole article into English, I'd like to post it.
Decline reason:
It is very likely you have not been personally blocked. Unfortunately, we are unable to unblock you because you have been caught in a rangeblock. These are applied to stop persistent vandals from using multiple IP addresses to evade their block. For our security, we cannot release this block early unless there is clear evidence of severe collateral damage. You can, however, log in to edit. If you don't have an account, you can request an account at the account creation request form, making sure to add a link to this page for our reference in the comments section. Sorry for the inconvenience, but please let us know if you have any questions.
A minority of rangeblocks are "hard blocked" and prohibit editing even if logged in, due to exceptional vandalism or other similar issues. If despite creating an account, you still find that you cannot edit even when logged in, then please contact us again with the relevant error message. Daniel Case (talk) 00:58, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I;m an admin, and I don't know either. You'll have to post the text out of the message you are getting when you try. Can you edit other things? Peridon (talk) 20:55, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

Block message:
You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia. You are still able to view pages, but you are not currently able to edit, move, or create them. Editing from 220.129.0.0/16 has been blocked (disabled) by DeltaQuad for the following reason(s): This network has been used improperly by someone on your network, and therefore has been blocked temporarily or permanently to prevent further abuse. Anonymous editing and account creation is currently blocked for this IP or range due to the activities of an abusive user. Registered users, however, are still able to edit. Template:xt is only for examples of style and formatting. Do not use it in actual articles. If you do not currently have an account and wish to bypass this block, an account can be created to allow you to edit. Please use this form to request an account under your preferred username. Template:xt is only for examples of style and formatting. Do not use it in actual articles. Please login to edit. Template:!xt is only for examples of style and formatting. You must not amend, remove, or issue an IPBE this block without consulting a CheckUser. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped. This block has been set to expire: 17:36, 12 October 2014. Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and email other editors and administrators. Other useful links: Blocking policy · Username policy · Appealing blocks: policy and guide If the block notice is unclear, or it does not appear to relate to your actions, please ask for assistance as described at Help:I have been blocked.
Accept reason: As it happens the range block expires in a few days. Until then, I've given you IP block exemption to allow you to edit normally. I'll leave a note explaining about this below. PhilKnight (talk) 10:55, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
IP block exempt granted
editI have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. PhilKnight (talk) 10:57, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Ko Wen-je may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

IP block exempt removed
editHello, Guohuade. Just so you know, I have removed your IP Block Exemption flag, as it appears that it is no longer required. From a check of your recently-used IP addresses, it does not look as though any of those IP addresses are blocked; IPBE is only granted on an as-need basis, and when that need no longer exists, the flag may be removed. If you encounter any difficulty editing as a result of this action, please post an unblock request using the {{unblock|your reason here}}
template, mentioning the block message you are seeing. If you have any other questions, or you believe that you do still have a need for the IPBE flag, please let me know. PhilKnight (talk) 18:49, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
