If you've got time could you peer review the article please? Thanks in advance! Also, even though the FAC for Episode One already closed, I tried my best to resolve the issues that you brought up. Gary King (talk) 22:01, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar. btw. I've been mostly away from Wikipedia for the last to months, so you haven't seen me around much at all, nice to be remembered :) Perhaps you might want to chime in on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sega. Cheers, JACOPLANE • 2008-11-10 18:15

FFX
I've had some trouble finding a decent image showing the main characters in FFX. Do you know where to find an image somewhere along the lines of [1]? The Prince (talk) 15:11, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for checking. It's a shame Square didn't make any group shots of the FFX characters like in FFVII, FFIX, and FFXII. I guess the image of Tidus embracing Yuna will have to do. The image should probably be smaller, though, but I don't know how to make images smaller without affecting the quality of the image. Could you perhaps do that for me? PS: I'm looking forward to your comments. Hopefully, the article will keep its FA status. The Prince (talk) 19:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. PPS: Sorry for being such a pain, but I recently uploaded this image which I retrieved from [2]. As you can see the graphics and colours are not as good in the version I uploaded, and in addition, a tag was inserted since it's too big. If you could just help me out once more, I promise I won't bother you anymore. The Prince (talk) 20:35, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks again. I moved the image over to the characters article since it didn't have any images at all. The Prince (talk) 21:32, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Requesting peer review of Half-Life 2: Lost Coast at Wikipedia:Peer review/Half-Life 2: Lost Coast/archive1
If you have time, please have a look at Half-Life 2: Lost Coast and peer review it at Wikipedia:Peer review/Half-Life 2: Lost Coast/archive1. We plan on taking it to FAC soon. Thanks in advance! Gary King (talk) 23:54, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I think I've addressed your concerns. Thanks for the review. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 00:14, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey, since you seem to have a solid collection of Kingdom Hearts figures, I was wonderin if Axel's Play Arts action figure is among them. The thing is that someone tagged the article with {{in-universe}}, I developed a "critical reception" section but an image of that figure would be helpful once a "merchandise" one is completed. - Caribbean~H.Q. 05:43, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Little question
In The King of Fighters XII, we have to give refs to 20 characters. However, we have the same ref from the official website for each of them. Is there a way to source all of them without repeating the same refs? Thanks.Tintor2 (talk) 12:58, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Another of my requests that bother
I have been working in Naruto (a manga and anime article), and it seems ready for a GA. However, it needs some copyedit. Could you do it if you have some time? Sorry for bothering again, but the Wikiproject manga and anime almost does not have copy-editors, and its hard to get it copy-edited. The article is a bit longer than Fullmetal Alchemist (which has passed GA!), so dont worry if you do the copy-edit in parts. In fact, I think it may be better. Thanks and sorry for bothering again. Do the copy-edit whenever you want. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 13:54, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Watch over my FLC?
Hey Black, thanks for reviewing List of Kirby media for me, I really appreciate it. I've hit a bit of a snag though... I wasn't aware when I started the FLC, but I found out that I'm leaving on a retreat without any Internet access from Tuesday afternoon through about Friday? Either way, I'm not going to be around for the last day or two of the FLC. I don't really talk too much with the editors around here, so I'd appreciate it if you could help me out and watch the comments on the FLC for the last day or so. Shouldn't be too much on the last day, but just in case, I'd appreciate it. -- Nomader (Talk) 23:00, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'll most likely leave them messages tonight; wasn't sure it was kosher to do that or not. Hey, if you feel it's too much of a conflict of interest, I can find somebody else, but either way I appreciate the help. -- Nomader (Talk) 00:49, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, appreciate your help. -- Nomader (Talk) 01:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks a bunch for watching over it a couple of days. It just passed FL and a lot of it's thanks to you. I really appreciate it. -- Nomader (Talk) 01:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Super Mario 64 DS
I may be able to review the article after all. It's good to see someone put so much effort into such a great game. I've only completed this version of SM64, so it will be interesting to read it. Are you planning on bringing the article to FA status? It certainly has a lot of potential. BTW, I've sent an e-mail to the author of the FLAREgamer article. Hopefully, I'll get a response so we can clear this whole "FLAREgamer reliability" up. The Prince (talk) 20:17, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just so you know, I don't have any further comments about the article. I think I pretty much took care of the issues i could find in this edit. Good luck at GAN. If you're wondering, I haven't received a reply from FLAREgamer yet. I don't think they're that active anymore. The Prince (talk) 23:41, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, man. You did some good work too trimming the plot. The Prince (talk) 16:18, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
RFC at Talk:Handheld game console
Heya Guyinblack, just filed an RFC over at the project regarding a matter at Handheld game console, and your neutral opinion on the matter is appreciated. Another editor wants to include Speak and Spell as an video game console. I feel its an electronic toy and does not fit the definition he's trying to extrapolate. He also edited Speak & Spell (toy) to support his position, I changed back several of the edits but kept the majority (since he added a lot of good material). Both reasons and positions are summarized at the talk page, so I want go over it again here. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 21:35, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just wanted to give you a quick heads up that I have suggested a version of what we were discussing at Handheld game console yesterday. I'd appreciate some feedback if you have the time - I feel like we're getting close to a workable solution. Thank you. -Thibbs (talk) 17:14, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Guyinblack25, thanks for all your help so far at the handheld game console page. I just left a note at User:Wgungfu's page to explain that I am headed home for the holidays and that I will be unable to contribute for the next several weeks, and I wanted you to know as well so you wouldn't try to contact me in vain over the break. I will review any improvements that are made to the article when I come back from vacation and I hope things will be in much better shape when I return than they are now. Thanks again, and have a happy holiday. -Thibbs (talk) 21:14, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
And Guy, while you're not as familiar with the subject, you are quite familiar with what are verifiable and notable resources, etc. and the various policies and guidelines of course. So your participation in that regards is certainly valuable and needed. There's currently a debate going on regarding the notability and verifiability of Li as a source on the subject that your input would be appreciated. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 22:05, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Alternate titles, and columns in Lists of articles
Hi Guy, long time no see, the N64 titles discussion has been started again, and since you where one of the people who helped try sort out the tables and two lists we once had, I thought you might like to come and give your opinion to the discussion at Talk:List of Nintendo 64 games#Removal of Alternate Titles and Number of Players where we are discussing the use of keeping alternate titles in the "List of...games" some have suggested that they take up too much space and that other columns could seem to be "useful only to fans", and other things that have been mentioned that, and other 'List of' talk pages. I know you might be watching the page and seen how I mention this already, but I hope you'll come and give you opinion, and hopefully keep these type of concerns from arising again and again at each "List of" pages. (Floppydog66 (talk) 22:50, 18 December 2008 (UTC))

Re semi-break
Nah, nah, nah, you're not allowed to take breaks around here. Not even semi-ones. ;) --Marty Goldberg (talk) 23:26, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Ok, just spent hours upon hours getting together references and resources. I kept Li's general definition of "console" in the intro per the discussion opened by you at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#Frederick Li as a video game expert. Likewise per the discussion, the plethora of other references were worked in to the article - including one stating handheld electronic games are not consoles, and a technology (electronics) definition from the time period of these electronic games terming them as "nonvideo games". I also provided references for several tagged requests, and then rewrote sections per all the other references and citations. Let me know what you think (preferably on the talk page for handheld game console), this took forever. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 08:48, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Aye, they seem sufficient. As an aside, do you know of {{Vgboxart fur}} and {{Vgrationale}}? They tend to be handy for quickly creating detailed VG rationales. -- Sabre (talk) 23:24, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Request opinion
Can I ask for your view on a matter? This probably isn't within your particular interests, but you're one of the editors who always seems to do well with structures. I want to rewrite Klingon starships, but I can't work out a decent structure to follow. The current one is not pheasible and I'd really like to avoid a list approach instead covering each ship class as they appear in production history and covering it with design information that shows how they all link together. The individual ships differ so much in design and the like that following a structure like TIE fighter wouldn't work. I had thought of perhaps separating by series, but that could leave some sections underpopulated, and some classes span multiple series and the films so placing them can be difficult. There's really no precedent for a good article on multiple fictional ships like this. I don't suppose you could help suggest a workable structure for this? -- Sabre (talk) 11:32, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, always handy for some uninvolved opinions. A couple of follow-ups: while there doesn't seem to be as much information available for the ENT ships (odd considering normally there's less design info on earlier things in fiction), there should be enough to sustain individual sections. I hadn't really dealt with them much yet, just did the first section today. As for article titles, I'm not particularly fond of the current way, but it seems to be a common way within Star Trek to break up the time periods: TOS era for media with the original cast, including most of the films, TNG era for TNG, DS9 and VOY, which are all set in the same time period, and ENT era for the prequel stuff. Using "series" instead of "era" would infer that each section only covers that precise series, and not the others usually blanketed by it. I am, however, utterly at a loss of how better to phrase the titles. The only alternative I can think of is dates (23rd, 24th and 22nd centuries) but that is clearly unacceptably in-universe. One last thing, I don't suppose you could suggest a better opening for the article. The current one is utter rubbish, but I can't think of any decent wording. -- Sabre (talk) 14:51, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Pong
You're about to find out why I added the "small features" warning at the start of that list of consoles. The whole text is below. The picture that accompanies the piece is of a console that looks like this File:Atarisearspong.png but is an actual Atari machine. It has the word Atari where the one in the picture has the word Pong, and it has Pong where the picture has Telematics.
Atari Pong (1976)
One of a trio of standalone units Atari released in the mid 70s, Pong too the coin-op concept and transferred it lock, stock and barrel into the home. The units chief restriction was its immovable controllers, presumably incorporated in this fashion in order to make the console experience as close as possible to the arcade original. Coleco delivered a Pong clone at around the same time, and both companies enjoyed enormous success, shifting several million units worldwide.

Re: Sheng Long GAN
Fixed up what you pointed out about the article, only thing left was the cite template bit. Swapped out the second article scan for a screenshot of Street Fighter IV Gouken to keep the headshot more unique. Expanded the captions and fair use descriptions for both original images.
About Michael McWhertor, he's Kotaku's senior editor and has been interviewed by sources such as Gametrailers' Bonus Stage broadcast as seen here.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 20:43, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, sorry to bother you again, but after I finish working in the Necrid copyedits and fixing up Sheng Long's templates to all use cite I'm planning on pushing the Sheng Long article into FAC. Reason being EGM's last issue is published in February and I'd like to push for the hoax article to be on the front page for that week. Anyway to business I could use any copyedit advice you have to clean up and tighten the prose before then.
- Also quick thing. The one thing about Super Mario 64 DS that bugged me and why I didn't vote yes for A class yet is the Plot section is rather choppy, especially in a few cases. If it can be made the go smoother I'd have no qualms for voting A-class for it.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 11:35, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey, there. I'm really not on Wikipedia anymore, so, I don't exactly have an imput, but, if my olf project thingy auses problems, by all means, delete it, or whatever. To tell the truth, I don't care much for Wikipedia. Things are too bland, and boring around here nowadays. Most articles are in tip-top shape, so, there isn't much work I'm interested in. Hey, I was wondering if you had any time if you could run through and perhaps copyedit Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country?
