Happy Hacking Keyboard

edit

A tag has been placed on Happy Hacking Keyboard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DarkSaber2k 10:40, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't "just" promote a product. It describes a product in much the same way as the Das Keyboard page, though being brand new it's obviously not as well developed yet. It doesn't discuss advantages of the keyboard over others -- it only describes the keyboard's characteristics in neutral terms. -- Apotheon 11:32, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome

Hi! I saw your user page, try not to take things too personally, most Wikipedians have the projects best interests at heart. With reference to the Speedy Tag on the Happy Hacking Keyboard, I have seen this keyboard discussed in many places including magazines for it cult status and 'geek' styling. I'm sure it won't take too long to track down some decent sources. Once there are some good sources the tag can be removed. Any way here is a nice welcome message, Good luck! Norwegian republicanism

edit

Hello H3st,

I see that you are Norwegian and oppose monarchy. I edit Res Publica, an international anti-monarchy Web directory and wonder whether I've missed any republican resources for Norway.

Would you please have a look and share your thoughts?

Thank you.
