Welcome!

edit

Hello, HLTran, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Category:TAFE NSW campuses, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:TAFE NSW campuses

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:TAFE NSW campuses indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. DB1729talk 12:07, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Page hijacking

edit

In this edit to Peter Hancock (businessman), you hijacked an existing page to make into a page about a different topic (in this case, that new topic being yourself).

  1. Please do not hijack pages. You have already created Draft:Huu Long Tran; please develop that page and submit it for review through the Articles for Creation process.
  2. You should not write articles about yourself, especially one that claims that you are the financial services officer and chief financial officer (CFO) of Australia (a position that does not exist).

Draftspace

edit

Note that draft pages such as Draft:Huu Long Tran are not allowed to be filed in mainspace categories as if they were already finished articles. It is strictly forbidden for drafts to be categorized as articles, and if I see you readd the draft to any categories again I will be forced to consider limiting your ability to edit the page at all anymore.
