Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
TS Lombard
editRe the article created at TS Lombard. It seems that the page was moved to mainspace without completing the review process. This is not always a good idea and the page is still subject to review. Please note that Wikipedia cannot be use as a reference (see WP:UGC) and references need to be properly formatted (not just 'bare' URLs); see WP:REFB for aguide to how to do this.
More importantly, if you have any connection with the subject, you must read both WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the necessary declarations. The latter page is mandatory under the terms of use. Whatever the situation, please respond to this message clarifying the situation with regard to your connection. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 13:10, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Hannahtsl. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page User:Hannahtsl/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GPL93 (talk) 12:27, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

editRe Draft:TS Lombard, please do not add references as bare URLs as this leaves them subject to link rot. Please format references correctly per WP:REFB as requested above. Further, once again, please read WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the necessary declarations. The latter page is mandatory under the terms of use and it may cause difficulties if you do not comply with this. Again, please respond to these messages clarifying the situation as also requested above. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 15:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)

July 2020
editHello Hannahtsl. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Hannahtsl. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Hannahtsl|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Being employed by T S Lombard is most assuredly paid editing when you write articles and drafts about them and their staff Fiddle Faddle 22:23, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for informing me. I am employed by TSLombard, but creating the Wikipedia page is not part of my job. I would assume that this is a COI rather than a direct payment for my work? Please correct me if I am wrong, this is just so I can correctly declare my relationship to the topic.
- The definition is very broadly construed. I would intrepret this as receiving a salary from the organisation you write about and thus you fall into the definition of a paid edotor for this and each and every employee who you wrote about. You have not attemted to conceal your relationshio with the company becase of the 'tsl' suffix on your user id, but that also indicates that you are editing here as an employee of the organisation. To avoid the chance of a block I suggest most strongly that you comply with the definition of being a paid editor and declare with precision that status for each article or draft you create about a fellow employee or associate.
- An uncharitable person could consider that the creation of a wikipedia article on the org or its team might create an environment for career advancement. Fiddle Faddle 16:59, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
Ahh, I can see how it can be interpreted either way. Yes, I definitely did not try and disguise my affiliation. But have added the paid declaration to my talk page to be safe. Thank you for your help.
MfD nomination of Draft:TS Lombard
editDraft:TS Lombard, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. You are free to edit the content of Draft:TS Lombard during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
