Hanseatic League

Why this page?

Please write your comments, what this forum could do, to coordinate the Wikipedia work on Hanseatic League and Hansestic Cities. N3MO 20 March 2006, 17.02 cet

The first thing could be, to compare the the contents of the Category:Hanseatic League in the different languages, which subcategories and articles are there in the main European languages. Perhaps we find a system which works for all languages.

There are some mayor groups of articles:

• Hanseatic Cities - looking through the international WPs one can wonder, why for an instance Paris should be a Hanseatic City?
• Wars and Treaties of the Hanse
• Trade, Shipping and related aeticles
• People with relevance to the history of the Hanse

The Problem is, that there is not one history of the Hanseatic League, each city has its own, more or less relevant.--Kresspahl 17:22, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Wouldn't it make sense to start Wikipedia:WikiProject Hanseatic League instead of having a forum on a user page, which is confusing? john k 18:19, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

I haven't worked with project pages before. What are the advantages, using them instead of the user page. Maybe u are right, I don't know. But thank you for this reference. N3MO 21 March 2006, 15.13 cet

Ich weiß nicht, wie Du hier Teilnehmer gewinnen willst; vielleicht sollte man ein derartiges Projekt in Deutsch starten (als WikiProjekt oder als Portal:Hanse? Da sind, denke ich, vorerst mehr Benutzer zu gewinnen, und die Internationalisierung kommt dann nach und nach. Oder? Wie siehst Du das? Grüße vom Klugschnacker 19:51, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Ich dachte, dass es ein Projekt Hanse genauso von deutschen Usern benutzt werden kann, auch als Forum, etc. und vor allem auch auf deutsch. Vielleicht gibt es jetzt noch kein wirkliches Bedürfnis, Informationen zusammenzuführen, aber es sollte nur ein internationales Forum und WikiProjekt für die Hanse geben, dachte ich, weil die Hanse nicht national war und nicht deutsch.
