editHello, I'm 331dot. I noticed that you made a change to an article, MyLifeAsHarrison, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note that IMDB is not considered a reliable source, as it is user-editable. If you have any non-user editable sources like news stories or reviews, please offer them. 331dot (talk) 22:26, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

References vs. wikilinks
editI noticed in MyLifeAsHarrison, there were a bunch of things that looked like this:
- People termed him as Instagram's[1] Rising Star.
I suspect that what you wanted was not a footnote saying "Instagram", but rather a link to the Wikipedia page Instagram. The way you would do that would be to put the word in [[double brackets]] (known as a "wikilink"), like this:
[[Instagram]]
displays as:
Please use the <ref> ... </ref> format for things that actually should be footnotes, such as citations to sources that help prove the statements in the article are correct. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 17:12, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

- My experience here is that when an account resorts to removing the AfD template, they've conceded that the article is indeed flimsy. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 14:41, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
