That article, which you reviewed once, has been substantially improved and is now undergoing FAC review. Your comments, as that of a person familiar with the article, would certainly be appreciated.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 02:46, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
That map of Central Park . . .
editPeter, I have finished the map of Central Park (see here) and have inserted into the Central park article. I have been primarily concentrating on historical maps, but this was relatively easy. What do you think?? MapMaster 05:16, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that! I was fixing the spelling of Illinois, and I must've accidentally been working on an old edit. I've restored your edits, while retaining the spelling fixes since. Jpers36 20:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
You changed the rating of History of Christianity from "G" to "B". Would you please explain your rationale for this on Talk:History of Christianity? Thanks! --Richard 17:14, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

George Moore
editJust noticed your edit to George Moore. This article has been in review for quite some time and I have been trying to rescue it for demotion but not being a literary type it is taking me some time. The review may close before I get to finish and while I had been assured by another editor of his help that has not happened. Do you have the knowledge to assist in this FAR? It would be great if you could help out. TIA (I reply where I post) ww2censor (talk) 15:41, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- No, I have no specific knowledge. I am aware of the review and was trying to see if I could find some refs for the remaining stuff that need to be cited. As for the issue of comprehensives, I really have no clue. Also note that User:Ceoil has probably left Wikipedia for the time being.--Peter Andersen (talk) 15:52, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- You may be correct based on this edit. I had hoped that he would help out but it looks like I am on my own for now. Thanks anyway. ww2censor (talk) 16:22, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:H2G2 Radio Collectors Edition booklet front.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:H2G2 Radio Collectors Edition booklet front.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

editMy RfA
editThe Fuseli book finally arrived and I have added a paragraph on him. Unfortunately, I would have to read the entire book to find the selections from AR, as there is no comprehensive TOC or index that lists where all of the entries. I wanted a nice quote, but I am not quite willing to read the whole book to find it. Perhaps when I do the Henry Fuseli page, I'll come back to that! Awadewit | talk 18:16, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

editRfA: Many thanks | ||
Many thanks for your participation in my recent request for adminship. I am impressed by the amount of thought that goes into people's contribution to the RfA process, and humbled that so many have chosen to trust me with this new responsibility. I step into this new role cautiously, but will do my very best to live up to your kind words and expectations, and to further the project of the encyclopedia. Again, thank you. --jbmurray (talk • contribs) 15:59, 17 May 2008 (UTC) |
