Thank you for your excellent audio file on the article "Germany"
Dear The Voice of Hassocks,
Thank you so much for your excellent audio file on the article "Germany"! I burned it in its entirety onto a CD and gave it to my grandmother, a German-American who is a first-generation immigrant to the United States, for a unique Mother's Day gift. She has told me that she absolutely loves your recording, and is most impressed by your great clarity and your ability to speak German (which is very notable, because German is her native language). I just wanted to pass on the praise to you, the person who really deserves it!

P.S. Thank you as well for bringing Wikipedia content to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to access it: my grandmother has never owned or even used a computer, and your audio recording is the first exposure she has ever had to Wikipedia content. Keep up the good work and thanks again!
Brighton synagogues
The pages really do need photos. I love the Regency style, and the synagogue is a lovely example. The interior of Middle Street is truly over-the-top (well, the Victorians liked it that way). It would be great if you could get some shots of the interior. Also, the Sassoon Mausoleum could use a nicer photo. The mural on the inside of the dome is marvelous. Brighton really does have a wonderful blend of the most elegant and the most over-the-top architecture.Historicist (talk) 21:01, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Spoken article help needed
I see you are an active member of the spoken Wikipedia project. I was wondering if you could help with something. Over on Wikinews we have a daiy set of news briefs. However, the person who does them (wikinews:User:James Pain) is unable today owing to his needing a new mic. Could you possibly do the recording? The script is News briefs:July 23, 2009. If you recorded that, we would be eternally grateful. The music and other Wikinews-specific stuff is on his computer and can be bunged on over it when done. Thanks, and I hope you can help us out! - Note to self: see here for script. Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 11:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- That's great! Yeah, just stick it in Commons under Category:Wikinews audio and let me know the filename. Cheers, Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 12:38, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. If you have the time, could you take a look at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Grade I listed buildings in South Somerset/archive1? It is in need of reviews. Regards, Dabomb87 (talk) 17:41, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks muchly. Wouldn't want to see a list fail FLC because of lack of reviewers. Dabomb87 (talk) 18:58, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks - I've never got my head around the difference in the MOS (or why people are so pedantic about them).— Rod talk 20:32, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed & perhaps you will get the chance to take a few pics of some of the churches mentioned? (I'll be in Devon - but not for wikipedia reasons).— Rod talk 20:43, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I was wondering if you might be able to get some photos of the funeral procession of Henry Allingham. Funeral will be on [30 July. If you can't do this it's not a problem. Mjroots (talk) 21:49, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, the article will benifit by the addition of a photo of the procession. Mjroots (talk) 11:56, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
