Multiple accounts

edit

Please disclose all accounts you have edited under. You have mentioned that you have used one other account to edit Wikipedia. There are legitimate reasons for having multiple accounts but you are not allowed to do do so in order to avoid scrutiny. Disclosing your accounts will allow other editors to verify you are doing so within policy. It is required to protect the integrity of the encyclopedia. --ARoseWolf 14:15, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Accounts can not be deleted. --ARoseWolf 14:16, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok I will do it. But can you delete our conversation front the talk page. Trolls might send me messages Hateglitter (talk) 14:16, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I will not delete our conversation. Why would trolls send you messages? And if they do they will be blocked by an administrator. Again, please disclose your previous account you are now going to use to edit. We can have an administrator block this account so it is not used in the future but it can not be deleted. --ARoseWolf 14:19, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
then block it Hateglitter (talk) 14:20, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
by the way I have deleted a Wikipedia count before Hateglitter (talk) 14:20, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Do you refuse to disclose your previous account? --ARoseWolf 14:21, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
should I disclose it here? Hateglitter (talk) 14:22, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Create a user page stating the username of the account you plan to edit with going forward. It should be the previous one you stated you lost but found the password for. Include all other accounts, including the one you claim you deleted if you remember the user name you used. The username policy clearly states "It is not possible to delete user accounts, as all contributions must be assigned to some identifier, either a username or an IP address." No accounts on Wikipedia were deleted. --ARoseWolf 14:27, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok. Now that our conversation is resolved can you write the resolved icon on our conversation on the talk page. Hateglitter (talk) 14:33, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
its done by users to show that the conversation has ended. Hateglitter (talk) 14:34, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It is not resolved. I want it to be resolved. I do not want to be here asking these questions. You have not disclosed your other account here. --ARoseWolf 14:44, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am not taking about this conversation. I am talking about the one in the pages talk page that one was about the editing of the article. That matter is now resolved among us. Hateglitter (talk) 14:46, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
That discussion will stay on the talk page to give other editors reference. It will be archived by bot later. Discussions are not allowed to be deleted on article talk pages without good reason. The potential for "trolls" writing you is not good enough. --ARoseWolf 14:49, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am not asking you to delete it. There is a green tick that is made at the end of conversation that ends discussion Hateglitter (talk) 14:53, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
The discussion can just be left to archive if it is concluded. That is not required as no action within the article needed to be taken and there was none requested. We both agreed to walk away from it and carry on here with the account issues. --ARoseWolf 14:56, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
but will another user be able to join in our conversation on the articles talk page Hateglitter (talk) 14:58, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
If they so desire, they should be allowed to. We might have resolved our content issues but others may have further issue with either your edits or mine, even things we said in the discussion. We should accept scrutiny and address it. This project operates on civil collaboration through discussion. --ARoseWolf 15:01, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok--Hateglitter (talk) 15:03, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
