RE:Warning users

You can read more about how to appropriately warn users at Wikipedia:WARN, which also has a pretty extensive list of warning templates. Just copy and paste the appropriate one on the user's talk page. To figure out which one you will need, look through the options at the right of the chart, once you find the appropriate reason for a template, you will need to know how strong of a warning to give. If it is the first warning, use the template in the first column (LEVEL 1)...if it is the second, use the template in the second column (LEVEL 2), and so on. Hope that helps. Unfortunately, they have the right to delete warnings on their page. If you need to warn that user again, just do the same thing you would have if the first warning was still there (BTW, you don't have to always start from the Level 1 warning and use each one. If I give someone a level 1 warning and they vandalize the page again, I give them a level 3 warning since at that point it is clear they know they are vandalizing and chose to continue doing do). Fair use rationale for Image:Echo1.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Echo1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. I am reading your deletion log right now and here's what it says: 14:22, 17 April 2008 GlassCobra (Talk | contribs) deleted "User talk:Hazardous Matt/Sandbox" ‎ (U1: User request to delete pages in own userspace: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User talk:Hazardous Matt/Sandbox) I don't what happened but I didn't do anything. All I tried to do was copy the code, but couldn't because it wasn't getting accepted as a raw signature. Someone else screwed you over not me. It didn't actually "screw me over", because it wasn't my sandbox. For whatever reason when you posted the comments about the signature they created a talk page on my Sandbox (which is confusing, because I checked the link I gave you, and it didn't even go there.) Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Code

The last code for the signature didn't work, and you said something about removing the color for that thing in the middle, not sure how to do that. Also is there away to get it larger without making the rest of my page that large? DeadmanUndertaker 17:50, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
