Fair use rationale for Image:LinkCrossTrainingPressRelease.jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:LinkCrossTrainingPressRelease.jpeg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hi, the recent edit you made to Talk:Super Smash Bros. (series) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.   Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Super Smash Bros. (series), without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Snowolf How can I help? 16:12, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I did, but you can't remove comments from an article talk page. Snowolf How can I help? 16:13, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, you are blocked for 24 hours for harassment and disruption. Your friend also has a 48-hour block as it has not been his first offence - Alison 01:10, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mediation request

I am posting this here for User:Edit Centric, who has kindly agreed to step in as a third-party mediator. He cannot post due to the current page protection. I am merely passing this along. Please try to work with him. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 21:15, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Post-block discussions

edit

HeaveTheClay, once your block is lifted, I cordially invite you to participate in discussions on the article at Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Please remember when participating in these discussions, to follow the following suggestions;

  • Please remain civil.
  • The past is exactly that, the past. Leave it at the door.
  • Be constructive, clear and concise in describing what you would like to accomplish.
  • NO REVERT WARRING. 3 Revert Rule applies dynamically.
  • Try to work towards concensus, or at the least, compromise.

Again, once your account is unblocked, I encourage you to take part in these discussions, as they can not only serve the article and Wikipedia as a whole, but also build your skills as an editor. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you there! Edit Centric (talk) 20:05, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Re

Thanks for telling me about this. I'm going to keep a close eye on the OoT article from now on. I'm feeling a deja vu here...didn't Wikipedian do this to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl article a while back? He needs to learn to agree with people more easily... --haha169 (talk) 03:24, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

speedy

edit

""db-reason|Tagged since May, no improvement for it's notability reinforcement." is not a reason for speedy. Only the reasons listed under WP:CSD maybe used. See also WP:Deletion policy]] Deletion is the last resort--you should first try to improve the article. Any article that even asserts any importance, is not a speedy. . Ocarina of Time

edit

Please do not revert any more. The content you added was undue weight and was also badly written. If you continue this behaviour, I'll report you to an admin. If you so strongly want the content in the article, then start a discussion on the talk page. And the fact that GTA IV has similar content is of no relevance at all; see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Thanks.
