Your help desk question
editYou did not get a response to this question. I'm not sure what the solution is, but a start would be the talk pages of all the articles you mentioned.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:59, 28 September 2018 (UTC)
November 2018
editHello, I'm Alex Cohn. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Shortages in Venezuela— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Alex Cohn (let's chat!) 05:39, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Abuse edit on List of game engine recreations
editHello!
I wanted to talk about your removal of Abuse from the list. I think the entry was referring to the Abuse SDL port, not the original game. Since the source code was released, Sam Hocevar made the first port which was forked after a while by Xenoveritas. Both of these ports are named, as far as I can see, just Abuse, the same as the original game. This is the same situation as Doom, Duke3D, etc. (original source code was used to port to other platforms and make improvements).
My opinion is that we should keep it, but please let me know what you think. analoguedragon (talk) 23:09, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah. Looking at the list again, there are a lot of source ports, it's just that the lead only mentions the case of ScummVM (a set of recreations where the source of some, but not all of the engines was provided after the project started), so I thought they were excluded. Citing references in talk page comments
editI just added Template: Talkref to your recent comment in Talk: Esperanto § List of sources about the number of native speakers (which, BTW, thanks for adding). When you use footnotes on a talk page, you should always put this template at the end of the section you've put them into, to keep the references with the comment. Otherwise, whenever someone adds a new comment to the page, the reference list will drop down to stay at the bottom. --Thnidu (talk) 00:18, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

editWe have rules here
editYour recent revert on the "Rocket Lake" page has been reverted as we have rules here on Wikipedia. Please refrain from breaking the rules next time and refresh your knowledge of the rules WP:PRIMARY
Thanks! 115.189.93.151 (talk) 22:05, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- 115.189.93.151, you should read WP:PRIMARY again. "A primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge. For example, an article about a musician may cite discographies and track listings published by the record label, and an article about a novel may cite passages to describe the plot, but any interpretation needs a secondary source." Product launch dates will certainly fit that criteria. Hegsareta (talk) 14:38, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
