Spanoulis is obviously a combo guard. He is a SHOOTING GUARD FIRST. Everyone in Greece knows this.

Please do not switch the official positions of the Greece national basketball team page

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Julian Green (American soccer player), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Forward and American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Julian Green (soccer)

edit

The article Julian Green (soccer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Removing AfD template

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Julian Green. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  23:29, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I dont appreciate you telling me how to edit so please stop doing that. A lot of editors get offended by others thinking they are some how "better" then others telling people to stop edit. Secondly in wikipedia and WT:FOOTY we have never had an other nationality other then the team the player has last played for. It was the saem for example Diego Costa who got changed to spanish just recently after having spanish citizenship and being able to play for them for a year (born and raised in brazil. If anyone should stop edit it is you, and please at least discuss first. QED237 (talk) 00:13, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

That might mean something if you didn't contradict yourself within the first few sentences. And that's not how it works even per those guidelines, refer to recent Bosnian footballers who've had an association switch.
If you have problems with my edits revert them one by one by rational explanation and see if you can do that. I have even tried to be neutral and not say "german footballer" and instead use common "prooffesional footballer". You dont know what you are talking about. QED237 (talk) 01:05, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
These are strong words coming from a guy who can't seem to type a sentence without grammatical and spelling errors. I've explained my edits, you've brainlessly proceeded to revert them with no explanation.
My spelling on talkpages I dont care about I have more important time to spend elsewhere so I type fast, In artiles I rarely makes mistake so I dont see why that is important. You are just trying to aggrevate me, when you know you are wrong. I have explained my edits but you failed most recently to do so with the 720b revert and 53b revert. Oh and by the way strong words from a editor who believed he could somehow protect the article yourself adding a template?. QED237 (talk) 01:13, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
And btw please learn how to sign talkpage comments. QED237 (talk) 01:14, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ohh and to add, in the last edits (several in a row) I did

  1. Changed soccer to widely accepted "proffesional footballer" diff,
  2. corrected spelling diff,
  3. added info about team he has played for (old info re-added) diff
  4. New paragraph for new nation and removed abbrevation not explained in article (not obvious to non interested readers) diff
  5. Removed unsoured info to be read later in article, diff
  6. Minor corrections/ ce, diff

Any problems with those? QED237 (talk) 01:31, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Lose the confrontational approach, type properly, and learn how to spell and I'll consider paying attention to your "advice". You seem to be looking for an argument and I'm not going to entertain it.

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. The kid is born Out-of-Wedlock abroad, he needs to apply for American citizenship, it's a lot more complicated than you think, you need clear and precise citation and information on the article needs to be correct, so unless you have evidence that he has his American citizenship then please don't say he is an American citizen. So please don't add information which hasn't been verified. Govvy (talk) 07:21, 9 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
