Orphaned non-free image File:We Rave You logo.png
editThanks for uploading File:We Rave You logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Speedy deletion nomination of We Rave You
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on We Rave You, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Randykitty (talk) 07:21, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
We Rave You moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, We Rave You, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. kingboyk (talk) 12:51, 2 August 2019 (UTC)

editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --kingboyk (talk) 14:41, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
Hello Hemantkhatri37. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Hemantkhatri37. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Hemantkhatri37|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --kingboyk (talk) 14:41, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
@Kingboyk: Hi KingBoyk. Thanks for reaching out. I completely understand the issue you are trying to highlight over here and respect that as well. I have been an avid follower of the electronic music industry for the past 5-6 years. I have written numerous editorials on several topics in the industry as well and have had the pleasure of being praised for my work by various websites with We Rave You being one of them. I don't have any contract with the website neither am I getting compensated in any manner. However, throughout the years after closely analyzing the news agencies in the electronic music industry, I felt that We Rave You is one of the most trusted and groundbreaking sources of information but hasn't got as much attention as it deserves. Thus, the nature of my edits might give a third person an intuition that I am an employee however this is not the case it was just my attempt to let people know of an uprising website they can put their trust on. Let me know if you require any other information. Thanks! Hemantkhatri37 (talk) 10:20, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for letting me know. Please be careful as it would be a shame to see somebody enthusiastic getting blocked. Thanks again and good luck. --kingboyk (talk) 20:04, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
