Here are a few key questions:

• Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
• Do you understand conflict of interest?
• Do you understand that to be considered for an encylopedia article, the subject must be considered to be notable?

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Is it really not possible to think of a username which is wholly unrelated to your main interest? Failure to do so would tend to imply a single-purpose account which, while not forbidden, is looked at with more than average care. --Anthony Bradbury^"talk" 22:01, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Do you think it is fair to continue this username block given that the editor has provided a name that meets policy, especially when the article he has created is at AfD and the block prevents him from either contributing to the debate or improving the article? Some good faith about the editors future intentions should be granted here. -- Mattinbgn (talk) 01:37, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Indeed, how many users have a username not wholly unrelated to their main interest? Also, what has an understanding that Wikipedia is not a business directory got to do with this unblock request? Why should this newbie have to demonstrate "that to be considered for an encylopedia article, the subject must be considered to be notable" when the subject of their first article meets our published notability guidleines? --Pontificalibus (talk) 23:06, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
